I'd like to get a better idea of whose nearby so that hopefully we can have some more offline games and interaction as a community. I'm in Tampa near USF.

You'll be hard pressed to find people in Florida willing to play DOA, unfortunately. We do have a Facebook group for Florida players though, however we have very few members and it's not very active. It's still worth checking out because I believe there are a few Tampa players in it.
There used to be a member on this board, who went by the username Raansu, who lives in Tampa. I know that he's more interested in playing DOA3.1, but he might be willing to play DOA5U as well.
