Combo Throws

So I set the computer to fastest on throw escape and go to practice my combo throws and it seems like its not possible to connect them. I've only tried with 3 characters(zack, tina, mila) and 4 different combo throws, but I suppose this means if you break on first frame possible the tie goes to the defender. I can land them consistently with the computer set to fast.

Can some other people help test this to see if any character can land a combo throw with computers throw escape set to fastest, which I assume is just cpu escaping on first possible frame and not cheating lol.

Fastest is inhuman... you'd have to be on point, everytime, just frames everytime. Try it on Fast rather, it should be a little bit easier and more realistic.

On a different subject, how do you break throws and combo throws? I've been mashing buttons sometimes and mashing grab, or trying to time my grab press, but i don't really know. Someone enlighten me?

Of course i know people arent gonna break with just frame timing every time. Im just wondering if its possible for any character to hit a combo throw against a just frame break or if the defender always wins.

I'm pretty sure the attacker always wins, I read that somewhere. Hopefully the person who said that was actually correct.

exactly why this thread exists, cause clearly thats incorrect unless the computer is cheating lol.
Haha probably, I mean the computer is "top tier" so you just can't win. Idk, keep trying maybe you'll get it. Someone will clear it up for sure soon enough, preferably DrDogg or someone who got to actually be with the Devs.

As I stated, the combo throw window is the same for both characters, as it always has been. If the players press the H+P button at the same time then it's awarded to the attacking thrower.

They wouldn't have put a fastest option if it wasn't beatable. It's just like DOA1 where they break on the first frame.

And yes, you can beat the AI on the combo throw timings, the game has to register your button input the frame before the combo throw lights up completely.

Any time the combo throw shows up in green on the left side is when you hit the throw button to escape and it has to be on time..
