Controller Converter Allowed for Offline Tournaments?

Now that DOA5 is going to be on both the PS3 and 360, there might be some concerns about which console the offline tournaments will be using. If the main console at the tournament is going to be a PS3, I know some people might feel uncomfortable with using the PS3 controller than the 360 controller. I looked online and found a solution but I wonder if it's going to be allowed (of course without turning on the turbo option). The link for the converter is: http://www.xcmlive.com/cgi-bin/xcml...S000234&cat=PLAYSTATION 3-CABLES AND ADAPTERS

And on a side note, although wireless controllers are usually looked down upon, since it's a 360 controller hooked up via the PC Wireless Adapter, would the wireless controller be allowed with this method if a 360 were to be used?

Yes. They are allowed, but a wireless 360 controller needs to have its battery removed and play and charge cable connected.

If that's the case then, I might as well should just buy a wired controller instead of using my wireless one with the PC Wireless Receiver because the converter doesn't support play & charge cables.

Yeah, they just don't make the wired ones anymore. Have to buy them used.

Amazon actually sells the newer controller in a wired type. Only downside is that it's only a few dollars cheaper compared to the wireless controller.

they are allowed but lag. When i was judging SfxT @ EVO some one used one and hated it.

Do not use that converter. The XCM has been confirmed by MarkMan himself to drop inputs.

Get the XTokki360 from eTokki (which is run by EVO 2012 SFxTekken Champion Laugh).

For more info on converters, check out this thread on SRK.
