Crushing Wake-up Kicks and Force Teching

I know Hitomi has :

Wake up crushers.
:8: :H+K:
:6: :6: :K:
:6: :6: :H+K:

Force techs.
:1: :H+K:
:3: :H+K:
:1: :P:

Do all characters have some of these options? And if so what are some of these moves for them?

Any move that crushes low will crush wake up kicks provided that they hit mid, and (generally) any true mid that hits the ground and sweeping low will force tech the opponent. And yes, all characters should have some of these options.

Eg. Momiji has 66K and her jumps to crush wake ups, while 6H+K, 2H+K, 1PK and 214P can force tech the opponent.
Kokoro doesn't have any wake up crush options, since she has no low crush, but she can FT with 2H+KK, 2P+K, 1P and 7K.
Marie Rose can crush WUKs with P+K, and can FT with BT2K, 1P, 2P, P+K, 2H+K and 3H+K.
Kasumi can crush WUKs with 9K, 7K and 8P, and FT with 9KK, 2H+K, 1P and any low kick variant in her string.

Kasumi can also crush low wake ups with 33K for a decent launch but the timing is really tight. Some characters can also crush mid wake up kicks with good timing. Kasumi can do it with 7K and Leifang can do that with her 7K as well.

Also Kasumi has a true force tech, on a BT opponent: 66PP~P+K

Doesn't Tina rather prefer to do evil things with one of your body parts after grounding you instead of forcing you up? Anyway, I'm not sure but I guess she has some as well.

Tina has one pseudo FT using :8::P: after a BT :h::+::K: knockdown . If they lie there, :8::P: will FT them, but if they tech on their own, they're still at a disadvantage due to the recovery from their tech.

She can still FT after:6::h::+::K: if she follows up with :3_::P: right after. It's not completely guaranteed, but escaping it is incredibly difficult. The opponent has to get up at an exact frame to escape the:3_::P: FT. If they decide to wake-up kick instead, then they will be FT'd. The training dummy seems to get-up at the very first frame possible, but when I tried it on myself, mashing :h: or :K: to get up only got me FT'd.

You can crush wake-ups with :6::h::+::K:, but timing is strict.

I'm always looking for guaranteed FTs but so far I've only found one and it's not that great since you sacrifice a lot of damage to get it. There may be others though, like I think I heard something about Marie having one but I never experimented with her

Leifang can force tech with 2H+K, but it's not that realistic.

I personally just 1P+K against wakeup kicks, but you can always 9KK against the low, but it's weird timing and is more effort than it's worth. 6H+K obviously works too. I'd personally never attempt to crush a mid wake up kick with something harder to use than her 1P+K, even though Leifang crushes mids for free, simply 'cause her reward for holding it is amazing. Also 'cause wakeup kicks are active for 4 frames and that makes crushing the mid a lot harder than crushing normal mid strikes which are usually active for half that time.

I see Yoyo crush mid wake ups pretty consistently with 7K. It has something like 7 or 8 active frames IIRC and should jump over lows (but doesn't hit them obviously since it's high).

Other than that with pseudo techs she has H+K which works for me a lot, 2H+K like Striker said, the second punch in 3P2P, and 2P+K. I think 2P+K gives you the most frame advantage.

Oh I forgot Kasumi also has 4H+K and BT 4P. 4KK might.

Oh, and I believe Marie can sidestep WUKs completely using 8P+K, yes? Her command sidestep?
I remember using it quite alot on people who were down.

That's because it's a Free Step move like Hayate and Christie's 8/2P+K.

It's not a unique property in its stepping of tracking moves. Free Step Dodging has always avoided tracking. It's just she happens to cover a greater distance than Hayate or Christie, and she jumps over lows I believe as well.

Still nothing compared to Hayate's 3.1 Cartwheel, and if you played against that you wouldn't be concerned about MR's free step. (Hint: I've played against Hayate's 3.1 Cartwheel).

I didn't know freestepping tracking moves was actually a DOA mechanic... That needs to be patched out IMO. Same with negative guard breaks. Only DOA has such confusing mechanics

I have a few questions about the pseudo force tech...

Does PST only work after a hard knockdown?

Does any move that hits grounded work (mid that hits grounded or a sweeping attack)?

In training mode, how can I test what moves are hard knockdowns and how can i test whether or not a pseudo force tech works?

Thanks for your help everyone!
