Do some characters not have force techs

It seems like mainly the fast characters do. That's not to say that I went though the entire cast. I'm sure enough of us here have different mains to collect a complete list. The only slow character that has one that I know of is Bass

All I can say is if it is I think the idea is imbalanced, if not all characters have it, it should be the fast characters who don't. They hit you with a force tech, are + frames and are guaranteed a mix up that the slow character will have to block and eventually hold. As there is no other way to reverse momentum unless you get lucky enough for a throw punish or better if they're reckless.

But if slow characters get a tech you know all you have to do is block one mix up as after that if they try attacking again, any attack a slow character does a fast character will hit them out of it. I think DOA has a bad attack priority system, or maybe its just bad hitboxes

Anyways if you guys can post force techs you know for different characters that would be great, thanks

They tried to basically remove force techs with 5U.
Most seem to have pseudo setups that drop a lot of damage to make use of (but obviously +frames).

Couple like Helena do have a full FT.

hm so i guess i was right i noticing it in some characters but not others. I'm pretty sure Kokoro was a good one

Unless the timing has turned to being situational 1f based on the precision of the juggle (as in it's 1f timing if each hit of the juggle was also 1f timing), Kokoro's old whatever juggle into 2H+K doesn't force tech or even hit anymore.

Kasumi has one. I forget what the juggle is, but if you use 2H+K before your opponent hits the ground it forces them up. As for pseudos she has 9KK (only works sometimes,) 2H+K (this one is pretty awful and should never be used,) 1P F 1P, and BT 4P seems to work. Those are the only ones I can think of. She lost the teleport P+K one from vanilla which I used all the time but I guess that's fair since you have to be careful now with whether or not you use it based on juggle height.

Lei Fang has a pseudo, 2H+K and probably all the combos that end in it including unshu 2H+K, I've never really tried those. 2H+K is pretty bad though and should really only be used against people that take forever to get up. Edit- I don't know how the hell I forgot about H+K but that's one too.

It sounds like Awesmic found one for Christie and I know her running 2K is a pseudo.

Pai has a pseudo, 2H+K. She probably has more but I don't know too much about her.

AFAIK only one character has a guaranteed FT in 5U but even TN doesn't know it because it's still in 1.03.

I don't like it when my attack goes right through my opponent, and they are rewarded for laying on the ground, and I am punished for knocking them on their ass.

At this point who would be proud of winning a competitive tournament in this game? The only time the game is any good is if both players can remain standing.

Now on the new stage, fighting can take place in the air... another example of Team Ninja crapping on the ground game.

I've heard that certain FT can be guaranteed if in bounds, but I have yet to see it proven for myself...
