New to the doa3 series is the reverse hold. it allows you to defensive hold out of limbo stuns by doing the opposite direction and :f .for example. say you are on player 1 side and fighting christie and she hits you with :2 :fk :k and you are in opposite stances so it limbo stuns you. it may seem that she has a guaranteed launch but you can reverse hold her launch attempts. so say she attempts to :1 
:k launch you out of the stun, instead of holding by doing :1 :f you would do the direction going toward your back :3 :f. doing this will allow you to hold to your back side and hold her low punch. this works for all levels high/mid/low. you can also slow escape out of this kind of stun but that in another thread on this forum.
