During all my time playing DOA4, I've had to deal with the fact that some of the character's launchers in Counter-Blow and HCB don't work when the opponent has a wall behind them. This is specially annoying with characters like Jann Lee, Tina or Busa because they don't have many and the defender can simply hold and gain the advantage immediately, while others like Helena have three different, each with their own input needed to be held that gives her a slight superior advantage in the guessing game that is trying to launch an opponent after making them hit a wall (Helena has a mid punch, high punch and mid kick launcher in the walls).
This thread is to make a list of the wall launchers (if that's even the correct term) for each character. I'll start with the four I'm most familiar with.
