After taking a look at the screenshots, I think parts of the stage are closed off(similar to DOA4 demo had except it's much less obvious in DOA5).

Well in The Show for example I'm not seeing where the transition is between the 2 parts of the level.
and for this new level this area(all the way in the back with the purple flag[wonder what that new symbol is??]) looks closed off with the railing there...

I'll take a shot in the dark with 'The Show'.
Maybe where the tigers are is the 2nd part of the stage. After you activate the PB and send someone into the clown face, they hit the star, triggering the floor sections to break apart or retract (from the star going all the way out to the red circle around it). Which causes both players to fall to where the tigers are.

Yeah hopefully they stages do get a more dynamic feel. I heard the Temple looking stage is for tag so im not sure if we are going to get to see more of it.

Maybe they just didn't add it yet, but Rikuto said when they tried Tag, that the only stage that was available was the new wrestling ring/heliport mixed looking stage. From my standpoint, I would have thought they would have added the Temple if it was one(or maybe they just hadn't yet like I said).

DrDogg mentioned that The Show wasn't finished so you can't see the transistion. I believe it starts with the tigers and then you knock them to the next stage with the clown. He also mentioned that some of the stages in the demo might not be finished as well. I'm hoping that you can start fighting at the top area in The Temple stage and use the stairs as a slope to knock opponents down.

YEah me too but it seems like most two tier levels are one square then leads down to another square stage.
