DOA5U 1.05 patch wont load

Is it just me, but every since I've downloaded the patch, my game will not make it past the spinning loading symbol in the right bottom corner. I just played my game the day before, now I can't even pass the start menu

...the proper people have been made aware and your examples have been sent along. In the mean time, do NOT delete your save. Export it to a USB stick and keep it. The save itself is not corrupt, it just cannot be used on 1.05 for some reason. It will work if you remove the patch and play on a previous version. For now, you can create a new save but try not to overwrite your existing save.

It is not just you. Clear your cache and boot the game again to redownload it. See if that helps.

thanks for that. I gave it a shot by clearing my cache and reinstalling my disc. still nothing, but thanks for the advice.
I'm glad I'm not the only one dealing with this

Most of the issues I've had PMd to me are Xbox 360 users. One or two issues on PS3 but not as bad as this. The save data is not corrupt, however, as removing the patch and playing offline works fine with the save on 1.04.

Yeah, I bought Marie and her costumes.

I bought her the night before the patch, yea. And I got on, and played a little. but the next day when i turned on the game and update to patch 1.05. then i started having this problem

I don't think it will change anything as I can play her when I create a new save data.
