DOA5U Digital Version for PSN?

Will there even be a digital/download version of Dead Or Alive 5 Ultimate for the PlayStation 3? I'm talking about the full game, not the "Core Fighters" version. I've searched all over the web and can't find any info about this. So I'm hoping somebody here can shed some light on this. The only thing I can find is that DOA5U the physical media version is being released on 3 or 6 September (depending on your region) and "Core Fighters" is also being released on those same days on PSN. There is no information at all about the full version of the game being released on PSN.

More specifically I want to know if DOA5U (the full version) will be released on the EU PSN store. And if so will it be released on the same day as the disc based version? Also if there is indeed going to be a downloadable version of the game will we be able to pre-order it? And will the digital version of DOA5U include any of the pre-order bonuses that the disc based version gets?

There's digital versions day 1 versions of DOA5 and NG3RE, so good chance it'll be here.

I can also almost guarantee that there will not be a pre-order bonus. The concept behind pre-ordering is that there is (theoretically) limited stock and so if you pay up front you secure your order. Also if you changed your mind and didn't want the game (most) stores give you a full refund.

Digital downloads work differently in that there isn't limited amounts of the digital version (hence there's no need to pre-order) and there are no refunds when it comes to PSN.

Considering core fighters is on the store and it's the full game with stuff you unlock by paying, yes. Doa5u will be digital.

I'd assume you could purchase all of the characters in one bundle for a discounted price, which would from what I know make Core Fighters equivalent to the retail version.

The retail version still has bundled DLC from previous games, something Core Fighters won't have.

Personally, I'll just wait for a price drop since it's just a fighting game. But when the price drops low enough, there'll barely be anyone online (may not be the case for Core Fighters. Probably a bunch of spammer Ryus and Kasumis online all the time since it's free).

That sucks. With the new Tomb Raider reboot if you buy the digital version of the game you get all of the bonus pre-order stuff along with it. I was kind of hoping other developers would be doing this as well.

Also Core Fighters isn't what I'm looking for when I say "full version". I was hoping it would be possible to buy the entire full version of the game in one go over PS STORE. Buying the game in bits and pieces is not what I'm looking for. I guess I'll just wait for a price drop on the disc version then.

To be honest though I'm not sure how much longer I'll stick with this game. Player support seems to be going down day by day.

If you look at the Core Fighters section of the DOA5U website it says that there is also a digital version of the retail game for PSN. It's under More Info on Dead or alive 5 Ultimate Core Fighters.
