There have been a lot of interesting (to say the least) people that have been either throwing out news stories that are incredibly misleading or just incorrect pertaining to: Offline Players, Tomonobu Itagaki, Dead or Alive, Koei Tecmo and Team NINJA. Since the passing of Tomonobu Itagaki, a wave of people came right out of the woodwork or have just become interested in the subject matter so let's use this space as a place where we can dissect what misinformation is coming out with facts so that the truth doesn't have a chance to be overwritten.
I understand if people would think that this is a debate thread, but it's not. If you are going to display misinformation YOU MUST post your evidence alongside the misinformation. I would also prefer that the conversation remains unbiased and strictly to the points. I think we have the oldest, youngest and wisest DOA player base on the Internet. Players that have actually been supporting Team NINJA since the beginning nearly 30 years ago.
Here is an example of what I'm talking about (and it would help if you structured your information like this as well):
Misinformation Presented:

Evidence Presented Countering the Article:
Sonic Fox talking about his Dead or Alive training with his brother Kwiggle 11 years ago.

Community - "New Blood" Post-TFC Interview
TFC was one hell of a fight for everyone involved, but at the end of it all everyone had a great time. I spoke with the top three to get their insight on not just the tournament, but what these normally quiet dudes think of the game and where it's at now. DOAN: Now that you are TFC champion...
