Famitsu Interview with Shimbori and Hayashi

Not much new is revealed, it's basically just a teaser for the real interview in Famitsu's June issue where they say they'll talk about demo feedback and what's changed so far.

The main things to take away from this mini-interview is that doa5 won't have random danger zones and some costumes will have unique quirks. The rest is basically common sense, like the next stage will be totally different from warzone, some characters will have an entirely new main costume, etc.

It's typical Famitsu. The interviews are always just fluff for advertising. Expect the typical "What about new characters/features? Oh, you will be surprised by the upcoming new stuff."

Never expect Famitsu to have good interviews or text. They're mainly good for leaking releases or reveals of characters/dlc/features.

What do they mean by random danger zones?
Don't take my word for it, but I'm guessing by random dangerzones it means, random car going by, dinosaur's that roam around randomly....For example if we were in the warzone stage there wouldn't be random rocket launchers being shot at us/ random army dude just gunning us down or random Humvee/tank driving by on us LOL...

Edit: Also I'm guessing that by costume quirks(which could be totally different from what I'm talking about) they mean like Hitomi's last costume getting blonde hair, the ability to take off/ put on Lisa's masks, Kasumi's hair, Lei Fang's hair and million different glasses, etc...
Something I would like to see would be Lei Fang's dresses changing color based on button input instead of having like 5 different versions of the same dress taking up costume slots, this includes any other character who has this costume problem. >_>

Like In DOA3? Yes Please.
They Should have talked about the new changes made to the gameplay and tease us about the feedback they've been receiving.

The problem you have with the 'changing color by button input' is that the other colors aren't available to the opponent if they want the same costume...

Oh ok got it. Random danger zones would seem pretty cool to me.

The problem you have with the 'changing color by button input' is that the other colors aren't available to the opponent if they want the same costume...
Just give them the next available one, like how most other FGs handle it. Either that, or have colours as a secondary selection option, like how SFIV handles it.

OK quirks was a little vague lol To be a little more accurate Shinbori's talking about conditional things, like bras showing through shirts when wet. When I was skimming through this last night I must've misread the comment. SO yeah, nothing new actually... my bad :p
