This past weekend we had a mini major of sorts up here in MA: http://www.facebook.com/events/373869122633694/
The event had notable players from all over the region as well as NY top dogs Chris G and Noel Brown were on attendance.
As some of you know, I run my own gaming lounge Ultimate Gaming Spot and have been doing it big with the local Tekken 6 crowd. I wanted the guys to get an event so I ran a side T6 tourney in which two of my players placed 1st (Kid Lucid) and 3rd (Stillelctric). Uncle K the vids will be up soon

Anywayz, the day before we were in shop and the guys were practicing, me being outclassed figured I'd just play some DOA Demo. Two of the new players were interested in the game I was playing and conversations started . . . then it hit me!
Originally I figured to haul out 2 PS3's and monitors to the event, but knowing that Tekken's popularity was dwindling till TTT2 at least, I opted to bring an Xbox with the demo on it.
It should also be noted that Free Step Dodge members Dr. Teeth and Raion/Blackburry were on hand to provide some solid gameplay action:

All in all, I think we did DOA proud cuz quite a few people were interested in what we were playing.
