How do you unlock costumes?

Hi! After more than 10 years of looking for i finally now can play DOA3 on my XBOX 360. But i noticed that playing arcade mode and defeating Genra doesn't work for unlock costumes. I've completed the game with Kasumi, Tina, Bass and Hitomi at least once, but i haven't being able to unlock any item for anyone of them. All the settings are in default so... what could be happening?

i think i'll stick with DOA4 and DOA2U in terms of unlocking content, then.

WAIT, i've realized the PAL/NTSC-J part.
Mine is the NTSC-U version, so... ah, screw it, i don't need more costumes XD
(unless booster disc works on XBOX 360)

I think it does. You get it by getting all costumes in DOA2U (it was also given out in some OXM demo discs)

I actually like specific goals to unlock costumes, it's way more rewarding than in DOA2U/4/5
