The graphics of DOA5 and DOA6 turned off some DOA fans because of the changes in the character’s looks that made me wonder if DOAD for the post Itagaki era to be the playable DOA game?
DOAD is the only game Team Ninja didn’t change the graphics for which is a good sign that later when it gets remastered for Switch 2, it will appeal to DOA fans again and that the graphics will remain the same for DOAD2 if they consider making it.
The graphics of DOA5 and DOA6 is a good example why DOA is a disaster right now and bringing back the old graphics in a modern form is the only option to see that Team Ninja is showing signs of making the right move to keep DOA alive.
If you play DOAD over DOA5 and DOA6 because of graphics for some time, all I can say is that you are in for the ride of what is to come when DOA starts to return to Nintendo consoles and then to PS, XBox, and Steam consoles once more.
