So, I currently have a day 0 Jann-Lee and as such, I have questions and will likely have many more as I play him more so I decided to create this thread to not clog up the board with a million topics.
Anyway, here goes:
How can Jann-Lee deal with 9f jab characters up close? I'm finding it hard to handle them in cqc. So far, I'm relying on p and 6p to try and get a stun along with 3p+k to crush predicted jabs after blocking something else. Simply put, what is the best "get off me" move for Jann-Lee?
Sometimes I just want quick damage after I stun with a 6p, so I use 7k to stun -> launch, so I'm looking for the max damage for light, middle and heavyweights. I only need those 3 classes, I can improvise the rest. Honestly, coming from Gen Fu and Akira, Jann-Lee seems to lack in this department.
What are Jann-Lee's best keepout options? Currently, I use 66k, 1k, 6h+k, 66p, 2h+k and 3k series
How do you properly utilize Jann-Lee's command backdash? I tried using it to zone people with the dragon stance moves, but that didn't work very well and the backdash itself seems worse than simply using kbd, so I was wondering how to actually use it.
How can Jann-Lee approach characters that have good keep out like Ayane and open them up? In short, how do I deal with a good Ayane?
That's all I can think of for now, I'll probably have more questions once I lab him more.
