New Character for DoA5U Arcade

Siliconera is reporting that there will be a new character in the Sega-distributed Arcade release, rolling out this Winter in Japan. Given the state of the arcade scene in the rest of the world, the natural assumption would be a DLC delivery method for existing users of Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate though nothing has been announced on that front. Any early predictions on who it might be?

I hope he's actually a new character, and not just another VF or Sega character. Some people are speculating Ryo from Shemenue

Mr. Wah's article has a picture and Tengu jokes, so it's more front-page worthy than my "Holy shit, that's an interesting article on Siliconera but I'm at work and can't write an article so I'll just do a blurb," thing here.

Do they actually mean "More Characters" or "New Characters" when you're telling me "new" I'm thinking a character NEVER seen before at all.
It's obviously either going to be Ryo or Tengu, but who knows maybe they'll throw in 2 more characters (1 requested=Tengu and the other one), the character select screen can totally fit two more according to the design as of now. I think there's enough females, but I wouldn't mind Vanessa in there. But I'm wishing it's Tengu or someone completely new-never before seen. With Sega distributing it, makes me see why they have so many VF guest, and I'm guessing they're going to show this character off at Tokyo Game Show. The Arcade version suppose to be done by the end of the year and it's pretty obvious it's going to be DLC

My guess is on Ryo, Tengu, or Virtua Fighter Guest- Vanessa. Or even a Brand New character never before seen- it can be no other than these guesses. No way, now how lol...All of these are good, but a BRAND New fighter would be the best addition.

Considering we got a title called "I dont give a damn about tengu", I really dont think its tengu.

I'm so torn, I know Tengu is the best, no, the only reasonable choice, but at the same time I really, badly, like really badly want Aoi in this game (and Wolf please).

Rio from the Super Black Jack series has so much potential since she was in DOAP and has her own swimsuit set. It's not so hard to make her into a fighter. Slap in some random fighting style and a taunt. she's good to go. Same with Niki.
