New Demo by release date?

Anybody know if a new demo will be available before the release date? I have mix feelings about this game, one the one hand I'm a little excited that DOA is alive again because of DOA5 but seeing how DOA5 is unfolding I'm disappointed with what they've done so far and what they SHOULD have done. Either way I would like to test it first before dishing out 60 big ones and get disappointed. I didn't get the demo that came with Ninja Gaiden 3 CE (personally I think that game is garbage).

I strongly doubt it. I would start looking on ebay for a code. Or scour online to see if there could be anyone with an extra code. Thats what I did.

But if you get the demo, realize that many changes have been made from that stage of development. Such as a change back to 4 point counter system, the addition of Critical Burst, various unholdable stuns (as well as new stuns) and Power Blows being limited to only being used under 50% health. I guess what I am trying to get at is the demo is NOT accurate of what we have now.

I'd be willing to bet that, no, they aren't going to release a demo with the game coming in a little over a month. If they were going to release a more updated demo it should have been when the E3 demo came out, so :/

*gasp* Really they brought back the 4 point counter? Same as DOA4? Sweet, I may be getting this game on release day after all. That was practically the done deal thing for me along with the options to turn off the stupid hit effects. Now if only they take out power blows......:(

Yep! Same as DOA4 and DOA2U. And you can turn hit effects off.. even in the demo. And power blows won't be removed. I personally don't think they are too big of a game changer.. they take so long to charge that if your playing someone who recognizes what your doing, it won't land.

I think he means a public demo on XBL/PSN. It would be strange to me if they did not release one at some point after or around the release.

DOA4 didn't get a demo until some time after release if I am correct so the likely hood is that DOA5 would be the same.

just gamefly/redbox it and if you like it then buy it. its what im doing. with ttt2 coming out that month im not about to spend another 60 on an unproven fighter like DOA5. especially with word of TN backpeddling on the improvements in the E3 build and pulling the same bs they did with DOA4 right before release

I hope they have a XBL/PSN demo. Maybe with more characters than the alpha demo and a few more stages. Maybe it can have Kasumi, Hayabusa, Chrsitie, and Bayman. Stages could be Flow and Battlefield.

They probably won't release anything but you can just google for the demo and a method to install it to an ordinary 360.

Thanks ill give it a try but i bet i wont be able to get it to work since i suck at this kind of stuff.

I dont really get this part "The demo must be un rar'ed and the files / folders for the Demo must be placed in the Content\0000000000000000 on the Xbox 360
hard drive, or an Xbox 360 formatted USB memory stick.

You can also create a Content\0000000000000000 folder on a DVD-R, place the demo files and folders here and burn to a disc."

Game developers don't tend to release demos all that much these days. I would be very surprised if a public demo showed up on PSN/XBL at all.
