Hitsparks were added for convenience, really. They're there so you can tell right away where a move hits. If you don't like them, turn them off. Done.
How are Power Blows out of place? They're just really strong martial arts hits, same with most of the strings characters perform.
I didn't mind the hit effects or the Power Blow (because it did feel just as fluid), but Power Launchers ruin that fluidity. What's with that ridiculous spinning animation?
