Finally made it to the point in DOA 6 with Kasumi where I could hold my own against Kokoro on COM Level 8, All Guard, Always Counter, the works, so my Idiot Self thought I could do the same on DOA 5: Last Round (Free to Play), Put my Controls to the same Custom Setup, Picked Kasumi to fight Ayane in Versus, and....proceeded to get my but roasted, and handed to me on a sliver platter, with gold fork stuck in it, and the Kanji for "Pig Butt" Branded on it.

Then I tried again, this Time on Com Level 7, and I swear I could hear Ayane say, "Bon' Appetite'"

Were you doing the AI in training mode vs CPU on doa6 with those options, or you mean in general? And yeah in DOA6, the AI is hard on higher level but they're alot more easier to beat than in LR. In LR iirc the devs implemented a better AI that quickly picks up on your habits so using the same attack or hit level is gonna get you dusted since naturally on max difficulty they're gonna perfectly read your inputs and guard, hold every other 3rd attack easily and they're gonna almost always automatically strike when you hold.

In LR if you want to have an easier time fighting AI, you're gonna need to get a stun and almost always throw into Kasumi's launcher throw since a weakness I noted is that the CPU will usually whiff hold if you stun them since they expect you to keep your stun set ups going, that or quick launch. In 6 the AI is more forgiving so they'll fall for the same things which is even more easy to exploit since their difficulty is toned down and better imo since the AI on legend difficulty in LR is almost perfect play with how quick they'll start to read inputs.

It was Free Training in DOA 6, and then Versus on LR on COM 8.

Thanks for your very vivid and thoughtful response, I'll do my best!
