I remember watching this on Dead or Alive Ultimate. Solid show.

Dad-gummit, I miss G4 at its pinnacle. Gave me plenty of reasons to still watch TV with the decline of Toonami and after the WWE's Attitude Era. Hell, Tina Armstrong even won G4's one-time Video Game Vixens pageant, if anyone even remembers that.

Man I miss Itagaki! Here's hoping 5U tanks hard enough to get Hayashi fired. I think every single game he's made has sold terribly, it's a wonder he's still there

BTW I think Shimbori makes a cameo in this episode... gonna tweet him for confirmation lol

If G4 and Icons were still alive, I wonder how the updated version of this episode would look like...

The only thing that is missing in the video is a parallel evolution to the series of Itagaki's look - at the beginning of the DoA series he appeared so:

Jokes aside, I remember this episode from the times of DoA2U; really interesting for any fans, I always liked to see it. Like said by Awesmic, would be nice to see the realization of another documentary about DoA depicting the progression of the series until nowadays

Team Ninja is so ninja like in their ways, so there is not much to tell since they've become so good at what they do. I guess the government taxing authorities have a hard time catching up. Now that would have been a funny setup for a character showdown in Fairy Tail/One Piece/Anime with ridiculous fighters.

Holy shit! Where did you get that?

I mean, I've seen what he looked like before in this one old video interview about DOA2's development, but never this clearly.
