I shall explain. This is a scene from Conan O'Brien's show. It is a sketch called "In the year 2000", the joke being that they are predicting the "future" of the year 2000 in the year 2007 or so. Now this could have two different interpretations; 1. The patch will come in the distant future of the year 2000. 2. No-one can predict, just as Conan and his guests can't predict the future in the show.
