So, anyone else just fuckin hate when people try to act/talk tough after getting a win, when they were just using gen fu or fucking sarah, the most broken fucking characters? Its only people using them, that i've ever seen anyone trying to "teabag" in Dead Or Alive.
I see a lot of Rig mains do this as if they're trying to "channel" his character. This one Rig was destroying a lobby and he types "pathetic..." I saw another one on another occasion doing the same thing and he said something like "fucking scrubs... so boring" Then I beat him and he went "not bad..."

I channel my character sometimes, but it really just makes me a goofball, not a jerk.

"I am as the driftwood upon the whitewater current."
"If your soul is imperfect, life is difficult."
"Know that the way of the shinobi is a harsh one."
"I feel a storm is coming."

Naw, just never found the Muppets as awesome as some people, apparently. I liked a few characters but Miss Piggy and most of the minor characters irked me.

An entire line of jokes based around one word? Seriously? *exhales* I kinda knew this day would come. I predicted in 1996 there would be people who could sit and hear David Letterman say the word "ass" over and over again for an hour and someone would find that funny. Thank you for making that prophecy come true.

Wrong again!

what you are describing is a word being vulgar, and stupid people enjoying that. Much like how most comedy nowadays is just dick jokes.

What Swedish Chef embodies is a word being inherently silly. People love good old fashioned silly fun. Muppets, Monty Python, etc.

Hayabusa's "Rage is a swirling storm that engulfs you" perfectly describes most people after facing him in Home or Temple of the dragon xD

ok not sure what all that was, but ill consider myself caught up anyhow.

the Ayane clone theory actually has some weight behind it because supposedly hacking to make the costume playable it had purple hair. then again this is the same community that constantly fucked with the roster screen and made Alpha look like the bitch from the grudge

Awwwh you were so close to being right. Yes, I even coined a phrase for today's humor "peepee poopie fart penis" which is pretty much what today's comedy is, but unfortunately, you wiffed a little bit on the simple fact that whether someone is silly or vulgar, it's still using one word over and over again.

I am a sucker for the old style of comedy, however. I used to watch shows like Cheers, Night Court, Home Improvement, etc.. But Monty Python and the Holy Grail is actually a mishmash of silly things, not just saying one thing over and over again, which is entirely different.

You show potential and that means a lot. On this post you would get a "C".

I am going to be homeless after next friday in order to save money for a deposit on an apartment.

I don't know how long it will take.

But I SHALL RETURN. STRONGER THAN EVER.

((because I'll be outside a lot, you see, instead of sitting inside at the computer))

On the Swedish Chef. Ever played Banjo Kazooie? half the humor is that he's just speaking gibberish, with the only intelligible word being "bork", which, by itself, is completely unintelligible anyway, and yet we still get what he's saying.

There's more to it than just "one word over and over", but I don't want to sit here dissecting a damn joke any longer.

He talks funny. Get it? Got it? Good.

That really sucks. I hope you're not homeless for too long.

I know you are trying to offend me somehow, but its not really coming through.

But you keep on trying, god bless your little heart.

You seem to be unable to comprehend the difference between intentionally trying to piss someone off and not giving a flying fuck if someone does or not. I fall more into the latter, mostly because I am the type of person that hides very little. I lay all my cards out on the table. It doesn't make me abundantly popular, but if I was, I wouldn't be playing a lot of fighting games, would I? I imagine after about 50 times getting your face put into the pavement by your opponent, you won't be much able to be a person's "friend".

I'm starting to notice a number of people here can't discern the difference between unabated honesty and "trolling". Sad, really. Point is: if I was trying to "piss you off" as you would say, the vernacular I'd use would be much more mean-spirited and insidious. I have a saying "treat me well and I will move mountains for you. Treat me poorly and I will drop those mountains on you".

Nope. I didn't own a gaming system between the original NES and a PS3. I was a PC gamer at the time. Sorry, so the word no comes to mind.

I think I would have appreciated it more had it been someone other than Marie Rose (or any of the females for that matter). Maybe if you had Gen Fu replaced by the Swedish Chef, that would have been at least tolerable.

Cassandra Morris.

Zinnia Su will return to voice as Leifang, thus effectively removing the loli voice and pasting it to Marie Rose.
As much as I agree that Cassandra should voice Marie, I highly doubt that they'll change Lei's voice. We already have two characters in this game sharing an actress (Momiji and Tina, specifically), so I doubt they'd bother recasting her.

The aggressive wording is what makes people mistake you for hostile.

The joke behind Marie Rose being Swedish Chef comes from a LOT of pages ago, the joke first came up when we were wondering what she'd talk like, when all we knew was that she was swedish.

I actually did know that. But think about this logically, you're replacing this:

That's like replacing this:

Sometimes you just shouldn't. Oh and before you say I was too aggressive, my original idea was to put dog poop in the 4th panel.
