DOA5LR PC Minimum Specs and Other Info Released

Dead or Alive 5: Last Round page has gone live on Steam. You can actually save 10% off the final cost by pre-ordering your digital copy at this time. Some other information was released if you read the page over.

Additionally, at this time, it looks like the game only has the attribute of Single Player. I am not sure if this is due to the site just going live or not, but my money is on that. I cannot honestly expect they'd release it for PC for only a single player experience. Also, there's a note on the page saying, "Online modes for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round will be added in a patch within 3 months of release." which as written gives the impression it will be offline only. It should also be noted that in a previous interview, Team NINJA mentioned support for the game (no specific platform specified) will be done post-release including the potential for new online modes.

There is also a pre-purchase reward system on Steam. You can get 10% off the purchase price and the NINJA 2015 Kasumi outfit if you pre-purchase the game. If enough people pre-purchase the game then free Costume DLC will be given to those who pre-purchase:
  • First level reward is the new Ninja 2015 outfits for Hayabusa, Hayate, and Ayane
  • Second level reward is the new Aloha costumes for Kasumi, Hitomi, Ayane and Mila
  • Third level reward is the nwe Beach Party costumes for Momiji, Rachel, Leifang and Kokoro
Lastly, I have created a Steam Group for those players who are interested

System Requirements
  • MINIMUM:
    • OS: Windows 7 Professional 64bit Service Pack 1
    • Processor: Intel Core i5
    • Memory: 4 GB RAM
    • Additional Notes: Online modes for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round will be added in a patch within 3 months of release.

My immediate guess is you're probably going to start from scratch... if DOA was like GTA in the sense that it had a network behind it like Social Club, it would be more probable.

Some people on Steam are bringing up a decent topic... How do the PC players go around with previously bought DLC? do you think PC LR will include previous vanilla 5 and 5U DLC, be able to sign into PSN and transfer that way or do you have to just fully re purchase everything (the suckiest option)?

Or since it's PC. Someone will probably figure out how to get the dlc for free anyways.

I was so exited when i read this, but i don't think my laptop's processor would be able to handle the game. It is an AMD C-60 APU; whatever that means XD So i'll probably have to stick to the ps3

I'll give Last Round a whirl when I get my new PC, it should be able to run it
new PC specs will be :
Intel Core i7 3.4 Quad Core
Intel HD 4000 integrated graphics(hoping to be able to replace or add on to this with an AMD Radeon R9 280)
8GB RAM

As for DLC if I have to rebuy I guess I'll just wait for Steam sales or stick to the PS3/PS4 version for my costumes haha

EDIT: I'm also hoping that PC port is full Last Round, I noticed that Steam description only advertised new characters and costumes and not the new stages and/or hair styles.

Man, that's bad. It's like, 1.00GH or something stupid like that. I advise not to get it, as you will die from inevitable FPS lag, lol.

It will, as PC can definitely play on it, in terms of hardware.

I know, I know... I tried playing tomb raider on it the other day and the freaking thing almost exploded even with the lowest graphic options possible lol

Lol people acting like oh its PC someone will be able to get free DLC

Doesn't work like that

Trying to get stuff free for games that are on Steam is a bitch xD And even then, you'll have to get past whatever anti-cheating/hacking software that the game has.

And hopefully we can avoid such instances of thieving douchebaggery, at least on a massive scale.

I mentioned to Tom I'd like to see Steam Workshop support custom outfits. That way anything blatantly ripping off DLC can be self-policed easily, and most users won't look beyond the workshop for mods. It also makes things veeeeery easy for the rest of us to get cool stuff.

Wouldn't the Steam Workshop just throw the want for costume DLC out the window?

And nude mods are instantly banned and deleted, diminishing the "Nude modes are coming" people.

Goona double dip (PS4 + PC)

I really hope the PC version is 1080p + all the bells and whistles to make it look even better than the PS4/Xbox One version.
