It could be, but Im not really sure. I have a video on my phone that has no YouTube compression or slowdown, and the stages and details look the same as that picture. Overall, the game just has a sharper look, and very fine details. I hope they fix Lili's hair, because it sometimes clips through her torso and the ground, and doesn't flow as beautifully as TTT2. Paul's glove also needs smoother textures.

The texture and model detail are actually greatly diminished by the filters that were applied. Now it looks more impressionist like:

I see now, the direct promotional images are indeed more natural looking. I think the other image had used a filter to make the image appear brighter too, because these images look identical, but lack the overall brightness, but that could also be stage lighting.The texture and model detail are actually greatly diminished by the filters that were applied. I'm just tired of seeing pictures of games that aren't even related to this topic or Tekken in general. And it's an annoying conversation that'll just go on back and forth the entire duration.
With EVO coming up, I am really looking forward to seeing how Tekken 7 plays out, especially when the Top 8 rolls around. Unfortunately, because EVO doesn't like 3D fighters, Tekken 7 grand finals will not be on Sunday, but Saturday instead. Still, I'm glad Namco did contribute a $30K pot for the game. Many American gamers will probably be out of luck, since the bulk of the game has been tested mostly in Japan and Korea, with limited exposure to a few majors in America. However, I'm just ready to see some high level Tekken 7 play, because I'm like one of the few of my friends who is more hyped for Tekken 7 instead of Street Fighter V at the moment.
Also, regarding the roster, there are 27 characters left, and I believe the game is going to have a roster of 30 correct? The characters that need to be added are Nina Williams (Tekken 1 vet) and Lei Wulong (Tekken 2 vet, and only Tekken 2 vet who as been in the series since his debut in that game). I suspect that one more new character will be added, but that also means that my chance of a Capo returning is slim to none, so I might as well prepare to learn Lucky Chloe as my tertiary.
