DLC Costumes

I really like how Canna was created with European traits for making it different from the classic design for the Eastern ones. Of course Marie Rose is Swedish but actually she was created for appearing as someone related with the Japanese fanbase (so without peculiar facial traits but with in mind a Japanese girl in DoA style).

In case anyone cares, I actually told Hayashi face-to-face that the guys needed more costumes (more so for you guys because I've stopped buying costumes at this point) and that the male characters are also important. He said that he understood.

And all I have to say about the new character is that if it's another gotdamn female, it had better be the most interesting and thought provoking design I've ever seen in my life. lol

I would prefer the opposite but I don't see how this first DLC character is not going to be a female character: after Marie Rose and Honoka that cater the usual popular representations of cute/sexy anime female characters, I think that they will come with something different. Their role is already got, this was the same reason because it was evident that Honoka wasn't going to be another loli character (even when many people believed it judging from the voice used for the teaser video).

And that fireworks stage is just going to be a modified Zack Island. Let's be real here.

People demanded time-variations for the stages many times and Zack Island is one of the orginal levels usally more appreciated from the fans: of course a completely new stage (as they seemed to hint will be the Spring's one) it would have been better, but I think that it's not bad to get a sunset variation of Zack Island. At least personally this is something that I could have realistically demanded even if not at the top of my priority list.

All jokes aside, I hope TN gets back into serious mode and implements a character, that actually would complement the rest of the cast well. That would be...

1) A male character, as the the females are already outnumbering the guys.
2) A young male character (in about Eliot's range). It's weird and illogical, that we have a bunch of (allegedly) 18-21 year old girls in a fighting tournament but just one young man.
3) A young upbeat character, as I feel grumpy, stoic or outright evil overweigh right now in the male department.

Someone like Yunseong of Soul Calibur would be imho cool and fitting:

I said it before...and I'll say it again: Why should you honestly care at this point? Another sledgehammer? Everyone who didn't like the game because of the stupid reason of fanservice...is still going to hate the game for that exact reason or purpose, they had 3 Dead or Alive games before the XBV spinoff games and they still pretend they are high and mighty over us about it despite being spinoff games.

Why should we honestly have to give a fuck about the same people who then later on goes batshit insane when even the smallest hints of fanservice happens in their game(SFV) or their game pretty much adopts the "Sex Sells" credo(Tekken and Soul Calibur)? Those are hypocrites and their words mean shit. And on top of that, isn't this the BEST time to show them that DOA and Xtreme are 2 completely different games and show we are still serious players even with it?

I mean come on, I hate impressing those types of people because they will never change, why continue making it seem like they EVER matter?

I'm guessing that their DLC schedule is already out, the comment about male costumes doesn't really help if they have already decided what to put out for the next 6 months.

Anyway, If the next character is female I hope she is a race that isn't Caucasian or Asian. Another Black or Hispanic girl would be great or maybe they can try a new race like native american, middle eastern, Indian, ect.

Despite the negative Nancy's in this thread, as a costume collector, I welcome all the additional collaboration and upcoming designer costumes Last Round will be getting in the coming months. I didn't expect the August DLC to include a balance patch and a new stage. I'm glad Team Ninja is going to be supporting the game well into 2016. I know people here really want DOA6, but the DOA5 series is only 3 years old and Last Round is only 6 months old right now. There's still a lot of life left in this game and the game is attracting new players every day.

I'd want to see Krav Maga just so I can see what it is. every video I've seen basically just shows someone scrapping and I feel like there should be a lot more to a martial art than nutshots/eye eye gouging.

I don't know why people even expected a DOA6 when DOA5 as a whole is only about to be 3 years old...

Well I'm expecting Sonia anyways so that wouldn't hurt at all but if there is going to be a new character, I'd rather it either be:

A) An African(Not Black) commando-type similar to Bayman or Leon or hell, even a Raven-type character. You can make him be on on Donovan's side since his side is seriously lacking numbers or strong people similar to the Ninjas and Ryu.

B) A Female Fiend character to expand on the NG-DOA conversion some more(She can be Elizabet or a brand new character) and again have her have a working relationship with Donovan, again expanding on the villain's side.
