Honestly Im not really all that excited here. I am not happy to see Marie Rose and Honoka back at all, same with Phase 4, but I'm not surprised. Nyotengu being a preorder bonus is also kind of whatever to me, I feel like they should announce series staples first like Tina, Leon, and Ein.
I'm mainly just waiting for Mila and Momiji at this point. Till then Soulcalibur 6 has my attention really.

ok so all characters that premiered in DoA5 aren't getting new defaults. nyo and phase 4 are technically in the game except one is a preorder bonus and you gotta buy the deluxe edition to get the other. so i suspect they will play a part in story mode, just not playable.
i have my speculations for the story mode tho. we should make a thread for that if someone hasn't already.

Ok, so wheres the best place to pre order for imports? The only one I remember is playasia and thats from years ago. Do they still charge immediately?

I mean, ok she's a little too "japanese", but i don't see why to hate her.
At best, i understand preferring to see Tina and Kokoro before her, but still XD
the only i think i don't like about her are her overly childish behaviour and squeaky lines in DOAX3, but that's just for that game

Leon and Ein aren't in the game, for sure. Ein would have been revealed by now with Hitomi or Hayate. Leon and Ein won't be until the 2020 upgrade version guaranteed.

The ones likely to be cut in vanilla release as safe bets
1. Leon [Bayman but less popular and even less significant story wise. He released with Ein in DoA 5 which tells you how TN views him]
2. Ein [Hasn't been relevant since DoA 2 despite managing to appearing in ever priory numbered entry since]
3. Alpha 152 [She is expendable since Phase 4 is a thing now as the "evil kasumi" despite appearing in two prior games]
4. Rachel [Momiji is more popular then Rachel and I doubt both NG guests will get in initially]
Will barely get in debatably
- Genfu will still make the cut. He isn't significant either but Eliot being slowly more relevant as his student can play a part.
- Raidou launching with Honoka [Likely story connection] who made it in will help his chances. Redesigned cyber look could be a teaser for this game.
- Mila was underwhelming new female last game compared to antagonist new male Rig in 5 but I doubt TN is gonna scrap her after one game
- Jokes aside I doubt Lisa will get cut. She fills a niche despite how unpopular she is out of the females. Anybody else not mentioned above has a solid chance one way or another with the remaining spots left
