    Of course you should use an adequate move according to how much advantage you have. On +1, you still have to careful against characters that are faster as you, or at least be aware of their jabs. On +3, Hayate get's already a lot of good options.

    The advantage means in general, that you moves will come out faster for it's amount as they usually do. For example, if you have Hayate vs Hayate, who both have the same speed and damage on their 6P, the one who has +1 advantage will get a stun if both use it at the same time because his one's actually one frame faster.

    You hold back during the PL recovery and for a split second after its done to get the timing of the 6K at max height, you can also buffer [3]PP by inputting 663PP during the 6K recovery frames.

    Made an ultra beginner combo for Hayate on Crimson at the top: PP, PP, PP, P, CB, 8K, 4P6P+KK, 7K, Cliffhanger P/K/T

    It's a good combo but the CB setup is not practical. If they can do the 4P6P+KK 7K juggle they can also do a setup like 9P, 6PP, CB. :)

    I was playing against a Rig player and all they did was Mid Punch and Mid Kick holds and it was so frustrating because I can't low sweep for 3 rounds or go high because his high follow-ups lead to MIDS!!

    You're probably better off with 214P or whiffing 236K

    This is true. I actually voted for Hayates 214k, 33kk, and 9kkk to get a bound/launch on CH+ to allow him to get a real follow up for using it since there's not much reason to use it.

    Hayate unpopular? I don't think it's that. It may be the point that players have already reached the moment of waiting for LR to check his changes and come up with new ideas perhaps.

    Do the third part as fast as possible and hit throw slightly before the 'combo throw' message pops up.

    umm isn't there a backturnt one where you do 3K 3PP CB or that twirling spin punch (2/8P) 3PP 8K?

    I don't really use hayate since Ultimate but those should still work bt only
