    no the problem is they become dam near useless at high level play. i was watching the finals between Knee and Nobi and just trying to neutral throw put Knee in back turn because Nobi broke it. his reward for landing that throw would have been practically nothing by the way.

    do you realize how many throws Dragonov has? do you realize how many actually have a chance to land? one. everything else WILL be broken or isnt worth the risk which is massive

    i think she was supposed to be the typical brat so we would be impressed when she circumvented expectations by killing someone. problem was the game couldnt hold my attention that long. a good game story cant hold a candle to a decent novel and i used to read quite a bit.

    As for the first part, perhaps. Honestly, the story in that game is so formulaic and trope-y without any deviation, it's hard to wrap my head around the idea that we were supposed to be surprised by any of it.

    one thing you can say DOA did better than Tekken or Soul Calibur. i dont play core fighters and say "wtf is this free to play bs"

    True that,although Namco might've used the data from TR to think about certain ideas that'd might be in Tekken 7,I mean,the invincible moves in TR sorta became armor moves in Tekken 7....SC on the other hand.

    In Arena they actually have a quick match option but nobody plays it. you could at least do 1 vs 1, but guilty gear is lobby based which means you'll be waiting awhile to get wrecked since you can't really practice that much.

    The reason I play DOA a lot more is because I never have to stop fighting to look for a match I'm always doing something

    I honestly never gave a shit about the Xbone past KI...and that alone is never worth buying a console for, nevermind hearing that KI can sometimes be a Ghost Zone on a level near or below DOA.

    KI is literally the only thing i want. Phantom Dust is in development hell, that new Platinum game is just DMC with ai dragons, HALO5 is meh, never cared for gears. there's just nothing for me on that system.

    im thankful that DOA has so many cool grapplers that win by actually grappling. you can honestly play almost anyone as a grappler in this

    If you misuse a throw you'll get hi-counter blown. Hi-counter throw damage is generally the most significant throw damage.

    Like I know they can get blown up by throws or bad timing but OH's are so good

    OH's are amazing. The thing about OH's is beating them out is unintuitive (unless you just crouch, whereas there are low OH's). Mashing to hi-counter a throw attempt isn't.
