Useless comment on my part. But, I hope she has her noblewoman's laugh. She sounded cute as hell when she did it in some of her appearances.

That's because it's part of her Ryuu enbu (214+P) special.
I forsee people cancelling to ryuenbu on block a lot. It's one of the few safe things she's got.

Also on a side note I kinda hope she has her classic ANDDYYYYYYYY when she get's ko'd, would be pretty funny.

Shame a lot of the VAs from old kof were replaced. I like Kyo and iori but I'm a bit 50/50 with Mai. If the VA can pull off the "Andy" death cry, that'd be great.
Also, can someone translate the note attached to her fireball in the frame data sheet? Does it say it's +1 or does it cause chip damage? Sounds pretty important if it's highlighted in red.

I have to say I always hated her "Andyyyyyy" scream. It was added in KOF '97 and I never could stand it. Mai has always been in love with Andy, but at some point in KOF she became a bit too much silly and Andy dependent. I always disliked that.
Also I prefer her actual seiyuu, Ami Koshimizu, than Akoya Sogi. Akoya was good in FF series and I love her because it sounds very familiar of course but in KOF, from '97 on, she was too shouting and overexagerated. Ami Koshimizu sounds more serious and focused but still has a very Mai voice, I think.

It says guard rigidity changes depending on distance. Since it says plus 1 I'm assuming it's plus 1 when done point blank, but gains more advantage the farther away you are, but we can't be sure yet.

So guys, Maximillian dropped a PM to 866Ain, me and possibly others that he may have tried to reach to learn DOA. I linked him to FSD but I fear he may not even attempt to look at the threads. I am skeptical at the moment because I still remember what he said on stream. We can forgive but I'll most likely will not forget. I can't hold grudges here, so if he wants to learn maybe this time people can help him and change the minds of others for more people to try the game.
Perhaps this time he can actually sit down and learn the game for once.

I'm also EXTREMELY skeptical of this too.
I will give him the BENEFIT of the doubt of this one because I don't need him to play DOA5LR over and over again, I want him to actually give it a fair shake and learn the game. I want him to treat it like Killer Instinct or Street Fighter V in terms of learning how to play the character.
If it's him by himself, then I can believe he's not fucking around this time. If he has his buddies with him, then I'll pretty much consider it a lost cause. Because that will depend on how seriously he will take it.
EDIT: I'll say this in the comments of that video too, but of Maximillian REALLY wants to learn DOA to play Mai for a day or two, then tell him to play the Tutorial. He doesn't need to stream it(but if he wants us to trust him, then atleast leave it as a video). If he really wants to be serious about it, atleast do that much. He doesn't need to do Command or Combo Challenge with everyone, Tutorial is more than enough easily as a beginner's guide.
