What happened ?

D-pad started malfunctioning. The forward and backward inputs would invert sometimes, and then other times it'll hold the back input indefinitely.

That seems rather serious...

I'm guessing this also makes it impossible to play using the Analogues if the D-Pad keeps overriding it.

Yep. Shopping for a new controller as we speak.

Have you though about.... building a new controller from scratch... ?

Specifically an Arcade Controller ?

I can't play with stick. I'm comfortable with the d-pad.

Theres also Hitbox Style arcade controllers...

No Stick... All Buttons... like a Glorified Keyboard.

It's just that I had my eye on the Hori Fighting Commander.

Ah... Good Choice... popular controller for many breaking into the Fightpad Market...

The new hori fighting commander is pretty good, it lacks the rotating d pad but it's not that big of a loss, and frankly it's it's the only d pad on ps4 I feel comfortable playing on, madcatz has a ps4 fightpad but it's been so long since I've played on one, cant tell u if its good or not

How does the hori d-pad compare to the ds4 dpad?
