I know she isn't the first (very) young girl in a fighting game, but here it's 3D, more realistic than many fighting games and DOA has a lot of ryona. I'm not talking about child pornography but about izona-dropping a kid from a balcony or combo-throwing her with Leon.

Can't wait for the first controversial articles about her.

OH GOD, Leon's baseball throw on Mary-Rose.......

If we don't get the trailer in the next 2 and a half hours TN pretty much lied saying we'd get a trailer today.
Nonsense. First the attitude needs to be checked, did you get a personal deadline with an exact time? No, it's a rough guide and it's a promotional statement that there will be a trailer.

Second, it was 2pm in Tokyo when you wrote that
Plenty of time in the day/night.

So hold the entitled gamer act. Well see it when we see it.

I love it when people come to their own conclusions.

I may have sounded a bit impatient and that wasn't really the case, I simply pointed out that It was said that the trailer would be released "tomorrow" said Team Ninja themselves. It was currently 11PM EST november 13th when that was said so my natural assumption is that it would be released at some point november 14th. If it was not released on that day it could be for a variety of reasons but that does not mean it wouldn't still be false information.

I said in a separate post that I wasn't sure of the time differences so I made sure to point that out. Pick your battles and make sure there's actually an attitude before you attempt to get it "checked". Perhaps I came off a bit impatient as I said before but I don't know where you got "entitled" from, and it's astounding that you choose until after the trailer has come out to call me out. Pointless and unnecessary.

Has anyone noticed that the words "new characters" and "new stages" in the official DOA5UA website are plurals?
So, we have two options:
1) It's just a translation "mistake" from japanese langage (there is no plural in japanese) to english.
2) We will have other characters and other stages.
Anyways, if we have an other stage, I wonder what to expect. Maybe, the arcade CPU might allow to have beautiful old stages and it could deal with detailed characters and finer stage graphics/physics that can't run correctly on 360 and PS3. Maybe a snow stage? A river with characters reflecting in water?

Yeah, a lot of us notice that, so yeah it's possible for more, however, it could be possible for teamninja to throw in a last edition on us, which would obviously be Arcade Edition (for the consoles)- which in no surprise could add more story, an arcade ending and more characters. I still wouldn't expect Tengu though, I'm guessing if it's another character it's going to be someone brand new, however, maybe a third extra character could be Tengu... who knows guess we'll have to see what they do down the road.
Plus there's no details on the actual arcade version itself like whether if Marie is going to have an ending in Arcade or if other characters will as well, but there's no way I can play this at an Arcade knowing there's no CG ending at the end, I'd be upset about that. Or what else it would offer.
Edit: I'd personally would love to see a completely new level with another cliffhanger.

Nice, noticed they are using tournament standard 3 rounds 60 sec. Instead of console default 2 rounds 99 sec. Would still like to know if sidestep can be toggled or is set, and if set then which way is it. Also if Bass' BT H+P is an OH.

Thanks for the video!
Is it me or there are no (important) graphics improvement?
I really thought that Team Ninja would use the arcade CPU to get better graphics and be close to DOA2U stages' graphics (at least!).
I mean, from DOA3, fighters used to reflect themselves in shiny ground. Here, in the tiger stage, the ground is shiny but reflect everything except fighters. Weird. I know it just a detail, but it is this kind of thing that makes the difference for graphics' quality.
So... Does it demanding to much graphics ressources, or is TN lazy/doesn't care about it?
