Hey guys, tournament happening this Sunday, August 23rd. SMASH UP 5: Release the Kraken. Dead or Alive 5: Last Round will be featured. Come check it out and support the game! Will be at a new venue too! I apologize about the short notice.

Doors open at 12PM
Registration starts at 12PM - 2:30PM (Tournaments will commence once the TD is ready)
Venue Fee: $10
Entry Fee: $5
All games are: Best 3 out of 5 sets
Double Elimination Format
Recommended Health setting: NORMAL health (300 HP)
Note: Dojo stage banned (Danger Zone soft ban)
Time Limit: 60 seconds
Character Lock for Winner only

GGs to all I played at Smash Up 5 this evening. Was an interesting Round Robin tournament to say the least lol. Congrats to Jefffcore for winning the event and BG's to Yurlungur for his bullshit LOL. Props on getting second though! Looking forward to Canada Cup and the next event!

Glad to get another weekly tourney underway this week. GGs to all that played today! Had some great, clean matches with Yurlungur that were tight and were fun (Game is also a lot better when counterpicking is kept to a minimum too). Props to him for giving me the rundown on how Leifang works. I still think she's kinda dumb, but she is tolerable if you go into the match-up with the right mindset.

Yay! DOA5LR finally got some stream time this evening, albeit very brief. Props to og23 for stepping up his Lisa play and knocking off Teevo's imposing Mr. Strong! Valiant effort also in GF's against everyone's nemesis Christie... Let's keep up the momentum going into the 2 big majors this fall!
