Worst Costumes/Outfits

That costume of Jun is so simple yet so effective. Kasumi would look great in something like that for DOA5 imo. Btw could you use that white dress in Tekken Tag/Tekken Hybrid? I don't remember it in-game.

I've dug up a couple more costumes that i think deserved to be shoved in the green garbage bin bag like month old unwanted Xmas gifts.

Lei Fangs & Hitomi's Indiana Jones temple explorer outfits which would look more suitable on Tintin.

Mila's centrelink husband-beater, nursing home greys look bulldog ugly. These grandad clothes look even nastier when sweat bathes them

Elliot has been rummaging through Hitomi's wardrobe with this questionable midriff-bearing laced crop top

& finally, Lei Fang's "not sure if i should wear denim shorts of jeans, **** it i will wear both" attire. It looks like this was the only decent pair of leg warmers she could muster after her house was struck by a tornado.

I know alot of people would love these costumes & that's great if you do, but me?

I totally agree with everything, except with Eliot, I always loved that costume, despite the fack that he looks so damn gay with it, it´s a very cool costume, and also, the black color make him look more badass.

Sadly, Jun's dress couldn't be done in Tekken Tag 2's customization and it never did became a playable costume to begin with. The closest thing you could do is recreate her Tekken 2 light blue vest and shorts though.

I agree with most except for Kasumi's and Eliot's. You should add up Helena's new DOATEC cop suit. It's just... Very ill-fitting...

I hate this dress as it is default but if you pick the yellow or blue ponytail it really saves the outfit. I think if they made the top part less baggy, it would look better. Wasted potential considering the colors fit her well.

Kasumi's casual attire is nice, but Chapstick imho made a great statement.

"I think if they made the top part less baggy, it would look better. Wasted potential considering the colors fit her well".

Other than that, it's far from being bad. Just a bit more tweaks imho.


Hitomi and Leifang
Personally it's not a bad costume, but for some odd reason it just doesn't fit them. However, I have remember they both tend to be young and ready for adventure in martial arts and a man. They'd probably stand out more if they made them unique. Lei-Fang's could be a bit more oriental, while Hitomi is more westernized. East meets west basically. These aren't bad imho, they just need to stand out a bit more to what they are.


Mila
Mila's gray jumpsuit is fine. It captures her personality as a blood, sweat, and tears fighter. Remember, she's a hardworking tomboyish girl. In that outfit, she isn't supposed to be anything other than a girl working out hard.....unless you just hate ladies in that attire altogether. I will say that the one without the jacket is kind of a waste of slot. Just like holding a button to change panty colors, they could implement shirt or no shirt and stuff.

He appeals to those silly fangirls and guys who like effeminate guys wearing that stuff. I'm just glad they didn't bring that back......but I hope don't jinx myself for saying that.

Reskins and different variations is kind of buzzkill for characters. Those are bad outfits because they could of made it like this: Just like holding a button to change panty colors, they could implement shirt or no shirt and stuff. More time to make some outfits

Sometimes, I think TN should pay attention to real life fashion and copy them. I know they can, but being lazy fashion imho is a sin. ^_^;

On the topic of worst costumes, now don't get me wrong, i love other fighting games like Tekken, Soul Calibur, Street Fighter etc but when i see some of their costumes i start to sort of think, well, you know.....some of DoA's less fancied, more sillier costumes aren't that bad after all in comparison imo.

What exactly is going on with Ganryu here in this ice-hockey style gut-bearing armor? Who concocted this gem?

Anna's octopus/squid tentacles.

Julia Chang has discarded the polite, well-manned librarian look for this feather-necked, spiderweb-laced brassiere & eye-sealed gimp mask

Not many were fans of Rainbow Mika's outfit to begin with in SF Alpha 3, that probably won't change now that a bear wears the same costume.

Ganryu... I never understood why you got that chest-less cyborg sumorai (Sumo + Samurai) Darth Vader outfit in T5.

Knowing Anna probably had PETA issues from skinning a leopard for a fur coat in T6 and a zebra suit in T3/TTT/T6, it's no surprise for me that she'd use a cephalopod as an outfit. All for the sake of fashion no matter how ridiculous! That's what I love about Anna. She's truly a Cruella DeVille disciple.

However, Black widow Julia was actually too bizarre for me. I get that she's doing the luchadora gig for the real Jaycee but that one seemed so out of character. How the hell can she even look? Same reason how I want to ask how can the ninjas be able to see in Ayane's training dummy cyber suits with that steel-plated eye-less helmet.

I actually find Kuma ridiculous (but truly adorable) in the R. Mika outfit. While his red neckerchief and spiked bracelet may have been iconic, it's best if it's without the karate gi.

I don't suppose you find Xiaoyu's T3/TTT look ugly since her hair was so short back then?

To be honest with you mate, i never really took much notice of her hair here as it never really stuck out much for me with her in-game model due to the blocky looking visuals haha.

The costume itself i actually quite liked though. The color choice, kung fu slippers & big bowtie on her back suited her nicely i reckon. Lei Fang would look good in a garb like this, seeing Ling in this outfit makes me think of Miss Fang in her DoA4 outfit.

Every 3D fighting game probably went to a blocky start I suppose. It just looks so unusual how they used to look like that before turning anywhere near gorgeous in today's graphics. Xiaoyu also started the whole glow in the dark bracelets and hair accessories trends.

Leifang actually had such outfits back then before she tried to sport more Chinese dresses.

Other than the cheesy outfits the wii u version is actually the best (except you can't play your own music on the stages like the PS3/360 versions). Being able to play it on the gamepad instead of the TV is awesome.

There is paid DLC but it's mostly for music and a few customization items for the characters.

Now Tekken Revolution on the other hand....

I guess it's a watered down version compared to PS3/360 and I believe that's manifesting up at Tekken Revolution.

But all of Ayane's costumes suck balls to me except her default
And Mila's except fr the Bass outfit she gets
The costume choice is either a color swap, or the same costume another character already has
Where's the imagination?
I could come up with better man
Hire someone like me or someone that can be creative to make the costumes lol
