At most 2U only had 2 swimsuits per girl and that was reasonable but 5/5U's raining swimsuits 6 times that it's agitating to look at.

I have no problem with one showing off skin to the point of being exaggeration but truth of the matter is there are sexy costumes (even ones that are conservative) without the need to flaunt too much skin. I find Tina more attractive while wearing these than her in leotards.
The only legitimate objection to showing skin is that from a religious perspective.Outside of that it simply doesnt make sense since it is just basic human anatomy and nothing more. Society has spoken and said it does not care about the christian perspective regarding sex to the point that previous taboos like being gay, divorce, and rampant premarital sex dont matter in the media. Hell even votes in california where the people have spoken that they do not want gay marriage get thrown out.
So if christian sexual ideology means nothing to society, which it clearly seems not to. Then I say bring on the titties. There simply is no scientific objection to the portrayal of sex and I say that because usually everyone one the internet is atheist lol.
also if you decide to come back with the whole feminist agenda, then I counter with the question why is it OK for a man to show his bare chest but not a woman, SOUNDS LIKE SEXUAL DISCRIMINATION AND A DOUBLE STANDARD!!!!
@RAWB- meh personally typically imo skimpier = better. That all just looks like typical stuff you would see in the mall or trip to a club. When I play doa I enjoy the ridiculous like kasumi or Tinas default or helenas white dress. Now if the first pics pants were replaced with tights and the crop top showed some underbewb then heck yeh!

@David - the complaint was on the premise of over-sexualization, the whole concept of which in this day and age makes no sense. I agree there were too many bikinis, but I agree from a variety standpoint, not from some inane allergy to tits and ass.

I tried to keep my mouth closed. But Mestizo is right. Its some women that have exposed clevage and ass that walk around everyday. But when people get to see it in media and internet and they get a voice, they start making up asinine excuses to why tits and ass are there. As for the gays are wrong because it's against nature part, I really don't have the energy to argue about that on a site for learning about DOA mechanics and DOA discussion. But, look at nature. Plenty of species show homosexual tendencies. And if you think the world decided gayness is okay, look at what's happening in Russia right now.

But suffice to say: "The only legitimate objection to 'over-sexualization' is religion," is absurd. There are tons of more legitimate reasons, ranging from individual culture to communal sociology.
It goes "against nature" as much as cheetah that tops out at 40mph, reduces likelihood of passing genetics aka fitness and is just a genetic defect. Any designation of right or wrong based on facts here is just opinion since it alone doesnt affect anyone else negatively.
The same is said for nudity. Nothing intrinsically wrong, all opinion/religious belief. In either of the two violence is always considered far worse, yet no one cares about that which makes 0 sense and completely undermines any moral authority, societal or religious, if it is not mentioned first and foremost. Priorities dudes.
In the end though as a victim of 2 bikini recolors of the legendary I would much rather have these classic costumes or mirfac from doax2 preferably unlocked nly with challenging in game achievments
The bikini clad babes are what drew me to give a first look at doa and the deep quality gameplay kept me. I agree on a variety argument enough of bikinis for the rest of the cast but will always laugh at any moral argument on over sexualization, cry about violence first then we can talk >_<

I used that on occasion than the one with the jacket on and I always remove the hat. Glad she got an option for her headband to be off in 5U. In my opinion though, she has the most stale costume choices in 5. There's nothing else I can use other than: a) Purple dress; b) Purple ninja outfit and; c) overalls.
Her camouflage swimsuit also does not make sense for me. Purple and camouflage just doesn't goes well together...

I lOvE that outfit. I use that one and the hoody one when I fight against people without her dlc. The hoodie one in cold stages and this one in warm stages. I remove the hat with hoodie but keep it on this one because the outfit is really bland without it.I have to ask, did anyone like this costume?

Sometimes, TN has to pay attention to the personality of a character. The outfit itself isn't terrible, but white makes Ayane too innocent and sweet like Kasumi imho. When I saw that white dress, I thought it's better suited people like her....
Otherwise, I wouldn't put hat and converses with that dress.
I prefer her to wear simple, tomboyish, cool, sexy, yet cute things.
IIRC, I saw a pic of her wearing a black jacket, shirt and jeans in this thread. An outfit like that would be great for casual badass tomboy Ayane or whatever.
Cute would be those ribbon kunoichi costumes of hers.
Sexy would be those functional kunoichi outfits like her 1p in DOA 5 and the simple purple ninja outfit she wore as 1p in DOA 4.
My humble opinion.
