Rikuto
P-P-P-P-P-P-POWER!
Ironic, the same place you hoped to get paid is the same place you swore up and down was destroying the competitive community.
" I love the CGS" Rikuto murmured to himself, voice dripping with sarcasm, as he sat on stage at a CGS event, defeated, cradling locks of his once attached ginger mane. "I'll get em next year though."
Hindsight is 20/20 for most but you're free to view it through whatever prism you like.
Try as you might to hold yourself to a higher standard and put yourself above it all whether you fall in line on your own or on someone else's say so, you did it before and when big money comes within your reach you'll do it again.
Are we done, because I'd love to bookend this thread with an insightful monologue/summary.
The game was sitting on the executioners block the entire time it was at CGS. You may have recalled that some of us wanted better things out of the show. These things never came. Knowing that "it was what it was" and we were fighting a battle we had absolutely no traction in, it came to the point where the only two options left were to take advantage of the situation and go for the money, or ignore it and focus on other things.
Are you suggesting that I am somehow corrupt because I took an irreversibly bad situation and gave it my best shot like literally everyone else was doing? I didn't have my spot guaranteed, I had to compete in a flawed format. I knew this going in.
So please point out the part of your venomous drivel where I "fell into line" as I've yet to see it, even though you keep repeating it's there. I'd think a sarcastic remark out of myself was anything but that. At no point during CGS's lifespan did I ever stop and say "yo dawg, this is legit".
See you presume to know my intentions, despite everything I've ever done. Your presumption is wrong. You have no evidence of anything, just a baseless hunch with a ton of inconsistencies. That isn't the same as a decades worth of bullshit coming out of Master.
In your mind, see, everything IS about the money, so that's all you can see. It's like that because you're the same kind of lazy backyard hero Master is that never got off his ass and traveled for the love of the game or competition. Your world is fucking small, and because of that you know next to nothing about me, or what drives me.
And also, no. That isn't the irony. But you'll figure it out eventually.
