This is getting scary. I got an old acquittance/friend from college who got a top which looks exactly like that of C2, she also put her hair up in pig tails during parties for cuteness effects and she wears glasses. If only the lower part had jeans instead of a "swimsuit ender" I'd say it'd look just like her. She even has much of the same attitude, where her body language is just like this. Either way she is in her mid 20s.

Whatever the case may be, I just hope she wears something more fitting to her body type. I think Kasumi's X2 swimsuit sets got a lot of frilly and cutesy swimsuits that wouldn't look repulsive on her.

It's very likely, in the end the bloomers are her underwear for that outfit (same with Pai) and we already know like TN make possible alternate version of them for all the girls that have an outfit showing it.

And If Team Ninja will decide to create at least an original swuimsuit for Marie Rose, like an user of Doaworld posted, I'm sure that she will take this classical chihè swuimsuit XD

Returning to the gameplay, I really like what I see. The character seems to be unique for the DoA roster not only in her appearence but also in the gameplay that in the end is the most important thing (in addition I don't play Tekken, so for me there aren't similarities that I can led to the characters of that series).

I also like how the character seems to be pretty technical on the chart for the Doa canons, and apparently even really competitive against the other, just like all the other DoA5U addition (maybe with the only exception of Ein :( ) were revealed to be.

I knew she was going to be sexualised as soon as I saw then announce "she's 18 lol " honestly doesn't matter what she wears I've seen worse I'm just worried about DOAs reputation.

Thanks for the clarification, interesting that the taunt button was used for a real move (but actually this isn't the first time, even Jann Lee got a similar thing)

Me too I'm surprised as heck that many are taking it well except for a few *cough*Brute*cough*. *smh*

Anyways she most likely will become my 3rd(Mila being 2nd, 1st Momiji) and Systema was definitely a odd choice but a good one at that.

Indeed it is and the only other one is Brad Wongs Zui Quan or at least to the untrained eye it looks casual for the most part.

Buuulllsheeeeit, at least you can look at zack and his style and clearly see he uses some semblance of muay thai. this chick uses butt attacks while twirling and jumping around like some doped up magical girl. you know damn well if her fighting style wasn't already confirmed no one would guess that she clearly uses the brutal russian fighting style of systema just by looking at her fight.

We don't even see her whole move-list yet in action in any of the videos so far. We saw some bare-bone basic strings/side skip flow chart moves with rarely any holds/not enough throws/ etc shown. Need to wait until someone shows more in-depth footage or we have to slowly piece together like a jigsaw puzzle on how she exactly plays.

I'm glad she's about as tall as the other characters, so there's no worries there. Also, am I the only one who actually likes her c2? The only thing I'd change is remove the lower frills and connect the leg part to the torso to make it more like Sarah's c1.

Nope, I actually like it a lot as well.

She seems to have a lot of combo potential with her limbo stun setup and her (advanced?) holds. Also, we finally get a female with small breasts. Those huge funbags the rest of the cast has really start to look ridiculous.

some of us didn't even realize there was a russian fighting style of systema until a few days ago...sooo no we wouldn't be able to tell that is her fighting style. But after looking at video of what Systema is, I can see that art in Marie Rose's holds. In Marie Rose mirror fight at 2:00 you see her counter a high punch, using her opponent momentum to force them completely around. And this Systema base style, using your opponent power against them.
