Oh, she definitely wont play like Lili. This is a different game altogether, just like Kokoro doesn't play like Akira lol. Doesn't change the fact that there are attack similarities though.

Not gonna lie, she looks adorable in that santa outfit and this is from someone who hated the christmas outfits last year. Mostly because they looked awkward on most of the other characters.
Except Gen Fu (Legitimate grandpa disguised as Santa), Brad Wong ("Bad Santa" Vibe with the drink lol), and maybe Bass too (Has a nearly perfect "build" for a Santa).
Won't wear that though outside of holiday seasons though.

It's 9 tiles that construct that picture. They just unlocked the 7th. There are two left to unlock. I'm assuming collecting every tile for a picture unlocks the costume in that picture.

I'm glad Marie doesn't have a hat on in her Santa costume lol. Although, I do wonder what other costumes they have in mind for her.

I don't know...it's nice to see that she has more than 2 outfits but since she is the only one who needed a Christmas outfit, TN couldn't have worked a little harder on giving her a more unique Christmas one? She could have had an elf outfit (she is a midget lol) or maybe a santa outfit that wasn't like every other girls'?
Edit: I take that back, all the 5U add-ons need them too but the guy santa outfits suck so I'd rather them not go there anyway. XD

She's not meant to be "sexy" like the other girls. She should be fun and troll-ish and with trolling comes troll outfits (take Jann's epic dragon outfit for example. lol)

DoA5U Arcade will be released during Christmas, however it's not completely impossible that the update for the console will end to be released around that period or in January.
Happy to see that Marie Rose will get the Christmas outfit (it is perfect for her), and yes, apparently seem that collecting the pieces of the puzzle you could unlock the outfit. However the screen comes from the Arcade edition, very likely they are showing its function (that I think to have realized translating the DOA5U Arcade site) that allow to save the data of the own fighters, collecting experience and GP points exactly like for the online game on the console (so maybe also the Arcade players will have to unlock the outfits for playing with them).

I am already jealous of the arcade version. XD Unlocking outfits by puzzles sounds awesome and would make them more satisfying once you get them.
I still hope TN really goes all out with this arcade version with unique features like a final boss fight b/c let's face it with Marie coming out during/shortly after 5UA's release people are going to need an incentive to play it at an arcade.
And with the official site still saying New CharacterS (a typo they could have easily fixed by now
) who knows...

Personally, my favorite method for unlocking costumes is booting up the game.
