I hope Team Ninja does have plans for evo and I hope they bring a playable build, even if it's just the alpha demo. Being there would be a good gesture, showing that they want the opinions of the more hardcore community. Doubly so if they know that they are going to get ripped on and are in it for the learning experience, much like everyone else there.

I'm going to EVO. This will be my second EVO. I'll be staying at Caesar's with some friends of mine from Virginia.
Team Ninja should take a page out of Sega's book and bring the latest playable build with them to EVO. Sega has been doing that for VF5FS since Final Round and has been bringing it to almost every Road to EVO event they can bring it to.
BTW, I'll be playing MK9 and VF5FS at EVO.
Cyber, holy shit that's a lot!!! How many days did you get the room for? My friend reserved our room and it's just over $700 for 4 days at Caesar's (thanks to the EVO rate of $159 a night).

Double posting, mostly to get your attention. Where are you guys staying in Caesar's? Cuz if you guys are going to have setups, maybe we can work something out that saves us all money. Either way it'd be cool to get some matches in.
EDIT: NVM I misread your post. But the setups question stands. I'm debating purchasing a monitor and shipping it but they've assured me that the TV in my suite is ready to go off the bat.

Even if DOA5 doesn't make it to EVO, I'm still gonna be watching MK9. Mileena getting 2nd last year got me really excited.

Not sure what part of Caesar's we're going to be in. I'll have to get that info from my friend. I won't be bringing any setups. I just don't trust shipping anything of mine to Vegas only for a weekend. If I were driving there, that'd be different, but I'm going to be flying in from Virginia.

DOA 5 getting into EVO partly depends on the community. Show Wiz, the Cannon's, Seth, etc. that there's a big and active enough community playing the game at tournaments and they'll consider it.
I'll be arriving at around 6pm Thursday. Going to need to haul ass to make it to Caesar's, check in, and then run down to the judges meeting lol. BTW, a couple people canceled so they need people for like three pools. Nice perks so I'd consider it if I were you.

Ok now that two days of EVO are officially over, what games have you watched¿ which ones did you like the most¿
I missed VF5FS and KOF13 and I'm VERY pissed at that but I'll take tomorrow to watch the entire thing if I can. I'm a little concerned about Blazblue's absence in the event. I thought it was gonna be included because yet ANOTHER remake was launched recently. I bet that pissed off a few people.
Also, what are the probabilities of seeing DOA5 on it next year¿ would you go¿ Let's talk about EVO.

Evo games are decided by community support outside of the wild cards choices of unreleased games. They seem to decide the games in December and revealed them in January if the DOA community shows up to the majors between it release and then it should get in. It's pretty much about numbers which is why BlazBlue didn't make it.
