I used to have a 360 & PS3. But now, I'm bout to get another one of either, just can't decide which sys I'd rather get so I can play DOA5U on. So, any ideas which console I should get for it?

There isn't a better choice between the two, it's preference really. The only difference is that as far as which side has more competitive players from the community, that would be 360's side.

But whichever console you're more comfortable playing on, choose the game for that console.

There is a difference. The ps3 runs slower than the 360 on at least one stage that I know of. On Scramble when the stage is activated it is a clear slow down on the game with the ps3 version than the 360 version.

If you don't play the game on a serious note then play on whatever console you choose.

Free2Play version is exclusive to Sony for the time being with unlimited online time , which has been downloaded over 600,000+ times on PSstore - great if you like to challenge your friends who wouldn't want to buy it with out trying it 1st and you wont have to pay an additional $60 for xbox gold live if saving a few bucks means anything to you ;theres always 20+ lobbies anytime of the day due to the growing community of core fighters , besides that games equal for both systems

I haven't noticed any slowdowns on Scramble on PS3, then again I play 5U on 360 a lot more than PS3 so you're probably right. In any case, thanks for pointing that out.

I play on both to be honest. Granted I play more on 360 but I'm starting to play on PS3 more now as well since I have a figthstick for it now. Also I can actually upload my PS3 replays to youtube hassle free.

Thx guys. I always liked 360 controller better (just feels more comfortable), but PS 3's controller's dpad is more sensitive than 360's. So, I have pros n cons with both, but money is somewhat of an issue @ da time for me. Plus, psn isn't monthly charge

You sure? Because I haven't experience any inconsistent slow downs .
I'm testing it right now btw.

I agree and disagree.

From my experience in Vanilla DoA5 I'd dare to say that, on average, the level of players on X360 is higher than that of players on PS3 (which doesn't mean there are no noobs on X360 or no good players on PS3)

I think PS3 is better because:
1) Slightly faster loading times at start
2) More players (Core Fighters helps in that regard)

I should rephrase my statement, my apologies. XBL does infact have more tournament level players than PSN does. This is what meant.

He said it because I shared with him a video that showed the slowdown on my PS3. It's at a certain angle. However, I'm told it's one of two reasons (1) My PS3 is just old (60 GB original), or (2) I have low storage on my PS3 which has been known to cause slowdown on even Blu-ray playback from a few of my fellow PS3 owners.

I have not seen it happen on any other PS3.

Since you're in a good position of having 5U for both consoles I would base your decision more on what other video games you have. Are there any exclusives that you like to play such as Halo or Tekken Revolution?

Since DOA has been on Xbox most of the time, and all Xbox DOA games are compatible with 360, I'd say go Xbox for familiarity.
