I don't like the song, not even a little. As far as lyrics go, he referenced being a nightmare but he got his horror monsters mixed up. Jason is Friday the 13th not Freddy Kruger; Freddy Kruger was at any given time when you were sleep. It also sounds like he is saying, 'there's a time to pray and then there's a time to fight'. Something of that nature. I can only assume he is trying to say 'play' but his words sound slurred and 'pray' is coming out. I wonder how many will take this as 'hate', lmao.
"Not I", said Awesmic.

Now that we got the prime suspect out of the way...

no offense .. i know the guy put alot of work into his song ..
but it just doesnt fit the game ..

the lyrics are all "wtf is he talking about anyway !? ... "
the beat is slow as hell .. i mean this is DOA ... its a fast paced game ... this is why aerosmith worked well .. and this is why exciter worked well
if that shit becomes like a main theme or something I will be seriously pissed ..
its unappealing and .... slow ...

like if there was a golf game or something coming in 2012 .. i would understand how the beat would fit ... but for DOA ? .. no ...

I liked Kayane's Kasumi play. She used a lot of critical bursts and teleports. She adjusted pretty fast to the new system. It seems strange that :6::P::+::K: causes a critical burst because it used to knock back opponents but now it stuns. Seems like Kasumi's :4::F::+::K: causes a critical burst as well based off Kasumi's combo trailer. Kayane did her teleport parry as well and I'm disappointed that it still puts Kasumi in Hoshinpo. I miss when it just used to put her behind the opponent in normal state (DOA2/DOA3). You could get so much damage off of that lol. One thing I want to know is how to do the teleport after Kasumi's :6::6::F::+::P: because that could be the next best thing.

Kayane was impressive as all hell. She seems to have picked up nearly all of the new systems and was working people with them. Only Rikuto seemed to be hitting that shit more.

Kayane played: "Kasumi is broken." "Kasumi needs to be nerfed." "She's just doing the same combo."

Rikuto played: "Bayman is broken." "Bayman needs a nerf".

Yup, that's when you know someone is playing it right. Haha.

Just so so impressed with all the changes going with DOA 5...I just personally want to thank FSD and all you competitive players for truly put so much work and effort into the community and helping TN to push the game in the right direction.

Pray tell, what kind of people would be asking for these characters to be nerfed? It wouldn't be anyone whose character has been top tier in every DOA to date, would it? I wonder why that person wouldn't want that...

Do you think we've seen enough to be able to list the Powerblows and Critical Bursts for every character in the E3 demo now?

I really want to know what Lei Fangs are but I barely saw her in the limited time I've had to look at the stream

No because notation has changed for quite a few of the moves that are carry-overs.

The stream today was awesome. Though many players, including Master weren't using the new mechanics as much. But it's great to see the game getting all that praise from Dogg and Rikuto who never stopped to whine about it until just a few days ago.

Bayman is a monster and Tina looks fantastic. I was a little sad that nobody used Leifang and Kokoro. I hope I see those tomorrow.

Swoozie Kind of Dissapointed me, was like too pokey and if he should have been a little bit more defensive he could been able to win some sets.
Rikuto, well, how can I put it in words... SURPRISED THE CRAP OUT OF ME. (Caps needed) I would be afraid to play with him, even with my best character, seriously Rikuto was the big surprise of the stream.
I hope he could beat the crap out of me one time. I would be very pleased :3

I think Mystik was much better today on the mic. She must have shaken off her nervousness. I know that commentary is really difficult to do. Hell, I have enough trouble sounding right on a podcast, and with my own speech mannerisms holding me back. I think especially

I enjoyed this day's stream the most so far. Props to Mystik and Rikuto for making it through the 9 hour shift.
