So I looked into the collectors edition, and it says two sexy costumes for Kasumi and Ayane. Now put those two aside. Then they said premium sexy costumes for twelve female characters. These are the list of Ladies (aside from Kasumi and Ayane):

Christie
Hitomi
Kokoro
Leifang
Tina
Helena
Lisa
Mila
Sarah Bryant
Pai Chan

So who are the last two female Characters? O.O

You're probably reading too much into it. Those are 10 characters, add in the ninja sisters and you have 12.

my point is its two packs separately. The one with Kasumi and Ayane, and a second pack with 12 female character costumes. I think that Rachel and Momiji will probably be playable.

Probably because you get costumes for Kasumi and Ayane in the 12 pack, they're just different than the "exclusive" costumes.

Oooo ok. I just was hoping I could see more new characters :)

The entire planned character roster was discovered and Rachel and Momiji are not among the playable characters: http://freestepdodge.com/threads/character-list-leaked-from-demos-exe.623/

Such is the problem with significant leaks/spoilers. It essentially kills people's potential excitement about mere POSSIBILITIES of things, and also kills potential hype that could/SHOULD be generated by official trailer reveals.

EX: The Sarah reveal in the E3 DOA5 trailer should been a hype BOMB for many people, but it wasn't because Sarah was listed on this leak. Same will be the case for if TN puts out a later trailer with a Pai reveal.

Perhaps they'll sneak in Rio from DOAP at the last minute. DLC maybe? That's what happened with Lisa in DOA4 from DOAX.

I'm not saying you guys are wrong, but that was old, I'm sure there's possibility for change :/ There might be things they hadn't added yet. Also, if their planning DLC they could have added a sidebar for more characters that didn't exist yet.

-Seeing Sarah would have blown minds, now it has no effect on anyone. Hopefully there will be some more gameplay aspects that will keep us entertained.

I completely agree (usually I never read/see spoiler of any kind but sadly with the Doa roster I couldn't resist, so the fault is also mine XD).

Yesterday seeing the streaming on the DOAW chat, many people were disappointed by the non-appearance of Mila, and someone said that it was impossible to E3 was not unveiled a new character: but actually this wasn't true, E3 revealed us Sarah, the fact and that by now almost everyone knew of her presence in the game.

But who knows, maybe just because we know of the lack of certain characters we will have also the time to convince the TN to reintroduce them in Doa5, something that we could not do assuming their presence without any spoilers. In a similar way, also the alpha demo (and the E3 tourney for the producers) was a sort of spoiler to see the reactions of the gamers: i.e. if Hitomi had appeared just shortly before the relase of the completed game, the fans (apparently the majority) have not had time for manifesting their disappointment on her design.

Not really because seeing how they play is just as important. I remember the ssf4 roster leak when it was leaked even before people knew it would be a ssf4. It didn't make people any less hype for the characters as people still wanted to see their movesets, same even with umvc3 with their characters we didn't know how they played so hype was still there.

It seems you misunderstood what's being referred to.

I'm not saying leaks kill all hype altogether, I'm saying leaks kill the hype that official reveals are intended to generate. This isn't about losing anticipation of the hands-on experience, this is more like knowing Thanos gets revealed before seeing The Avengers, or knowing Snape kills Dumbledore before reading (or seeing) Half-Blood Prince, or knowing Brock Lesnar returns to WWE before seeing the RAW after Wrestlemania, or knowing as a kid you're getting a Nintendo 64 for Christmas before unwrapping the box, etc., etc. The reveal of a surprise party is not as exciting if someone tells you you're getting a surprise party ...

Catch the drift?

Just look at VirtuaPAI's reply above, which illustrates the point EXACTLY:

I disagree. I think the leaks have helped people keep more realistic expectations so that they're not as disappointed when "wishlist item X" isn't available. I personally dislike the way a lot of developers hint at stuff so that people's expectations get so high they can't possibly be met. Now instead of that scenario, you have one of "Oh, I know what to expect, I just can't wait to actually see it." It becomes about the actual reveal and not the false hype and then disappointment of the reveal.

I disagree. People are still absolutely excited for her but now they're not expecting DOA5 to be an entire VFxDOA crossover like they were setting themselves up to be disappointed with.

Team Ninja said they were going to have more than one VF character in DOA5...so Sarah was an obvious choice...and after seeing that list, I won't be excited to see the reveals, but more so how they'll be implemented into the DOA mechanics..

Well I guess so but even then I don't think I could have been anymore hyped than I am about her reveal and i'm really glad she's here. I could see it bothering people so i'll just say for me I'd rather know ahead of time, in fact seeing the leak makes me more hyped to see the actual characters even more.
