I want this in HD glory.
I was really annoyed I didnt get this in the E3 demo.
got nothing but the red dress, a shitty looking other dress .. and the clown suit .. :/

That black dress was pretty nice. Isn't it like a remake of something she had in DOA3/2U?
Oh yeah forgot about that 1 that was the 4th. There was another shitty red one apart from the main one. The black dress is nice n all but....
Its just not fighting gear. Like I would use it from time to time but the costume I showed was always the one I went for in the end. Its nice that they gave her dresses in the DOA's after DOA1, but the black leather shorts and top outfit was always her trademark one. I mean that was even the outfit on the cover of DOA1 and the one she was wearing on the arcade cabinet if my memory serves me correctly..
They kinda took a different direction and gave her the red chinese dress as the main one from DOA2 onward. Deep down that always annoyed me but the black outfit was always there till they decided to give up on it in DOA4 which really pissed me off. I never liked the Red dress. Hell, I used to choose the blue version of that dress anyway, lol.
Shes just not Lei Fang without the black gear in my opinion.
Its kinda like how kasumi is not kasumi without her blue ninja outfit, and Ayane will alway have a giant bow on her ass.
its a nostalgia thing.. for me at least.
Also I miss the pony tail. They should give us the option to change her hair just like they did in previous games.

Now I'm curious, what is this fourth red oufit for Lei Fang? I haven't see all the three days of the tournament, do you know if some player used it (so I look for it in the videos)?
Personally I like the three outfits rhat I've seen until now of Lei-Fang: also if I understand that everyone hasn't the same likings - fortunately - anyway I think that the variety of the wardrobe of the girl is already in itself a very good thing if you compare that one of Doa5 with what she had in Doa4...
However I think that if TN has taken back the original purple outfit of Ayane, also the dress of Lei Fang in your avatar (that is one of my favourites) has good odds to make a return (also considering that it was included like DLC in Doa Dimensions, proof that TN knows that has been succesfull between the fans).
Anyway I understand your feeling of nostalgia: many wish for new costumes (and in some cases is the best thing, considering for example the poor variety for the wardrobe of Bayman in the previous titles), but personally I really happy to see again Ayane's purple outfit (with a red, and not yellow, ribbon on her ass XD), Hitomi's Gi oufit and overall Zack's muay thai outfit from Doa3.
She had 4. I just cant seem to find a single pic ...
Anyone make an archive of the DOA5 costumes so far ?

What day of the event did you see this costume on? I am almost tempted to go look for it just to see what it is you are talking about.
Honestly I dont remember ...
But the fact that it was hardly seen goes to show how shitty it was ..
I saw it being scrolled into from the select screen. Don't remember when :S...

It'd be awesome if Lisa got her Venus as part of the sexy DLC pack. Other than that I don't care, I want new stuff.
Ayane's costume from Warriors Orochi 3 would be solid!
And for the love of all things holy, give Bass back his white suit from DOA2U.
