Is it really that sad? Seems like a common phenomenon, really. The antagonists in the Tales series have a tendency to become just as, if not more popular than main characters. The Mario and Sonic series are particularly prone to this; Bowser and Eggman have developed much more interesting personalities while the main characters largely remain generic hero-types (though Sonic has been pulling away from this recently). Hell, in many cases, the antagonists will have more developed backstories than the main characters, despite having less screentime.

The black spider clan in NG twere lied to by their shit leaders they don't seek power for themselves but for the clan and will kill themselves in a heartbeat to help out their brothers , in NG1 they even thought they were saving the world by keeping it away from the "evil dragon ninja"

Zagi's just a random minion you fight a few times, but he was such a fan favorite that they brought him back in Tales of Xillia in the form of Agria.

I agree with Brute. The only ninja I'd personally like to see would be Shiden with a new playstyle or maybe Raidou, but we don't need any new ninjas. The current ninja quintet is awesome enough for my standards . Every other fighting series could use more ninjas on the other hand. Ryu Hayabusa for Smash Bros pls

yes i know the whole "we have to many ninja" argument and the thing is i dont care and i dont think TN does= either. im just making my suggestion now since im sure we are going to get more in the future anyhow.

if the fighter is interesting and fun to play as i dont care what type of job they have and i think i would have a lot of fun as a suicidal, homicidal, black-motherfucking-spider clan ninja.

Watching some of DOA at Winter Brawl and that DOA hate sure gets old. I have to turn off the chat every time the game is streamed.

DOA's roster is much like VF's roster. In both games, the roster has pretty much stayed the same in the main games. Even characters that weren't in the first version of the game later came back in newer versions (Bayman in DOA2H, Tengu in DOA4, Leon and Ein in DOA5U). Much of the principal cast from DOA1 has been in the game since the beginning and I doubt TN would change the roster too much at this point. Sure, some people are hurt that Tengu isn't there, but they obviously just wanted one boss character in the game, hence why Alpha-152 is the only playable boss character for DOA5. But I digress...
