My bad. Forgot that he was the missing link. Kasumi/Alpha-152's fault.
The next time they rearrange the placement of the roster, Jacky and Rachel should switch places as well as Marie Rose and Gen Fu.
what more can they do that TN hasn't already?

I'm thinking there would be 3 more "secret" character slots to the left of Kasumi, Busa and whoever the hell this new character will be underneath Busa and 3 more "secret" character slots to the right of Ayane, Hayate and Phase 4.... Or a new row above the top characters.
From the look of the screen shot, looks like we'll get ONE new character the most. TN has been saying things that have been taken out of context lately, so maybe they meant there will be one more new character. Also, if a new character pack is coming in 6 months, then that makes it all the more likely that there will only be one new character left coming to the cast. But like I said, who knows.

TN said "characters" so I assume it's more than just the unoccupied space underneath Busa and more than just Marie Rose and Phase 4. They could possibly occupy a new row above the top characters.
That would just look very ugly.

Regardless, TN thankfully doesn't base how many characters they add on how "pretty" the character select screen looks. Also they're asking fans to RT to have P4 come to consoles faster so I doubt we'll be waiting 3 months like with MR. So if I had to guess I'd say we have 2 more left after P4.

Not really. The space above the top characters is enough for a new row and it won't look over-flooded on the screen as oppose to having new characters on the end corners.
So there's 31 characters thus far. Hm, didn't realize this game had a robust selection.
Guess they'll make it ugly like the vanilla DOA5 character select screen. It was so bland back then.
how are people STILL basing the amount of charcaters on the selection screen? use some logic

Vanilla 5 was an incomplete game. There's nothing much you could do to arrange it if there were only 5 characters added back then that isn't part of the staple roster.
