I think it would be interesting if a new character has relations with another recently added character (Rig, Mila or Marie) instead of having relations with a previous staple character.
Somewhat similar to Lars and Alisa. They both debuted on the same game (even if it's just an another version of T6) and they were pretty much independent on their own without too much involvement from the Mishimas.

Wow, TN finally got over their OCD... I thought for sure they'd change the random placement again just for the sake of balance. Anyway I think Irene is just as likely as Miyako or Tengu or another Virtua.. relationship logic doesn't really apply since Momiji, Rachel and Marie placement makes no sense.
