I wish that gave me confidance, but based on 5 and 5u, new TN doesn't like vibrant, cooler color schemes.

Can't say I agree, your design for Mila is comparable to these costumes color scheme wise, so you have as good a chance as anyone.

I just remember one of my main complaints about 5 was the bland browns and reds all over. I play almost exclusively on the DOA3 stages now lol.

Sort of off-topic but it really bothers me that in Lost World there's that weird liquid/mud you and your opponent occasionally fight in. The texture looks awful.

It's not supposed to be like that. If you play it immediately, it will look fine. Then over time it glitches out and looks all weird for some reason.

Nah, it always sloped into a creek that went from one side to the other. The only physical thing different between DOA3 Forest and DOA5U forest is the slopes were higher in DOA3.

I think it has to do with the game trying to save processing power by not loading all the floors of the stage in full detail. So it tries to load them all complete once it registers that someone's falling to that specific platform. But sometimes it doesn't get that area quite right and stays with minimalistic rendering.
