At this rate I wouldn't be surprised or hold it against them if they did, especially if they need more testing grounds for different character types in VF for an actual crossover between DOA and VF. Notice that they've yet to put in a grappler from VF...

One of my thoughts is that it's a Japanese infrastructure that is being stressed (or stretched out). Basically if we were in glorious nippon game would run smoother. I'd say they save money by not hiring a development team to redo it.

But it's speculation so whatever

I don't even do holds online, i've given up on it due to how bad the lag is sometimes
