nope that honor goes to RE5. not scary in the least, but if you weren't going for weak points you weren't gonna last long requiring skill and reflexes to survive. cant say that about many games period nowadays
Not really. Re5 was just as bad as 4 in terms of being a piss poor attempt at a tps, only being able to play with a friend made it bearable.

Orc made enemies a threat, melee wasn't broken, classic monsters, cool characters, abilities, etc.

It just felt like all the pros of both re styles (solid tps mechanics with outbreak style character classes, co op, classic environments and monsters, etc)

Only bad things about orc were that a) cover mechanic sucked, B) versus was broken, and C) human enemies took way too much damage. I get body armor, but they shouldn't be as tough as Birkin or a hunter lol.

More than anything else I just love the characters and want them to come back. Even writing my first fanfic, a version of a future re game, reintroducing them on modern times.

All I know is DOA6 is gonna look beautiful as always

I'm sure, it will look beautiful...but I wouldn't say as always. ;) DOA5's textures and missing antialiasing look pretty nasty for it's console generation.
I guess, we can count on Soul Calibur 6 looking amazing. I mean, 4 and 5 already did. Just the character models have to be a little more polished.

im going to hop off the MKX hype train while i can, my gut tells me to do so and last time i ignored it...NG3
Don't underestimate Boon.

How do games, like Arkham Knight and Uncharted 4, look so amazing, when Killer Instinct and Mortal Kombat X look so bad? Don't fighters, with their limited count of characters on screen and enclosed stages demand much less power/ressources of a gaming system?

Maybe because its UE3?

Meh...some looked good (Arkham Knight and MGS5) but for the most part pretty underwhelming for PS4. I'm more of a nintento guy myself and am looking forward to SSB tomorrow. :D

As am I! :D Nintendo's press conference is always the highlight of E3 for me. Please, pleeeease let them announce a new (non-cel shaded) Zelda! >.<'
Hayabusa Link incoming.

And I actually like cell shaded..was disappointed in wind waker HD for removing a lot of the cell shading, made it look really bland

Wind Waker was a wonderful game and it's art style will eternally stay a beauty (the WiiU version kinda ruined it though)...BUT I still want a more Twilight Princess looking Zelda. As do many fans. ;)

I liked the skyward sword blend. Color pallets and filters, not monster design. Or anything else really not a fan of skyward sword haven't even been bothered to finish it.

Felt like a good balance.

And yes screw wiiu wind waker.

I'm not a fan of the art direction SC has taken in recent installments, but to get into it would be to beat a dead horse.

Something about the lighting in fighting games is just all wrong these days. Either the bloom is jacked through the roof or everything appears full-brighted. Very few modern fighters look good, in my opinion.

I think sc4 is the best looking fighter to date. At least as far as lighting and colors and textures.

Doa5 was one of the worst looking of the generation, sad to say.

I sometimes pick Kasumi and Ayane (their character models are the most detailed and polished) and let them fight in the circus stage (the best looking stage with the best textures and antialiasing) and pretend, that I am playing the prettiest fighter out there, like DOA always was before.
