Thx for posting. I usually prefer JP voices, but in this case, Rig's voice makes him sound waaay older...

Bass new voice actor aint too bad...
Rigs voice on the other hand... hes fine I guess. but I liked the English laugh more in the end part when him and bass do a little bromance

yeah i think a mix between Rigs english and japanese voice would work well. The english one doesnt sound intimidating enough and his japanese voice sounds to old.
Good stuff. Thanks for posting this. Random thought: I think they made Bass younger in appearance in response to the voice actor's younger sounding imitation of the old Bass voice. From my understanding, the old actor had a very, very unique voice that's near impossible to reproduce. Even the Tekken character he voiced has become younger in appearance as a result of the new VA, right? I thought I read that somewhere.

I gotta say it's sad whenever you find out someone you sincerely liked as *insert w/e here* dies. I remember when Mako Iwamatsu died, he was Akiro the Wizard in Conan the Destroyer and voiced Uncle Iroh in Avatar: The Last Airbender. I teared up during the episode of Tales of Ba Sing Se, in which Iroh's story was in memory of his death. Really sad

After hearing Rig's Japanese voice a few times, It kinda Grows on you.
It might be the same VA as Bayman Playing a lighter voice ... I dunno...

Someone in the comments said, "Wow, Rig is the FIRST DOA character that I much prefer in English voice. XD He just sounds too old for his look to me personally. :/"
I posted this comment on the video as a reply to it:
"I think it's because we heard his English voice first, which ruined the Japanese voice. But, even still, I still think his character "looks" too young for the voice and it just doesn't match the look of the character. The English voice is better suited IMO for the character."
I've listened to the Japanese version several times and Rig's voice is the only problem I have, it just doesn't match at all. It sounds too old for a guy that's probably in his mid 20's. I don't know what to say. Whatever, maybe it's just those scenes, because his fighting sounds are alright, it's only when he speaks.

I actually liked the SFIV option where you could choose which character spoke which language.

The Japanese Voice of Rig reminds me the times when I watched School Rumble... but... his VA is the same of Gin in Hunter X Hunter and Bard on Kuroshitsuji, so I recognize him... The voice is from a meathead yes, but it suits him...
